Surprised that i got one too, my app may have been better than i thought. Anyways im from syd and jcu was my first pref ( thought with my umat it would be the only hope until griffith gave me an offer). Its only a week from my uws interview. I heard the jcu interview is one of the hardest interview, and you usually get forced to take sides on some controversial/ethical arguments/topics is that true??

Yep im pretty sure your right there. Mine was express post, and capital cities have a much faster network iirc

I have to admit this express post system is really not all that express. If they were sent on the 12th and arrive on the 16th its almost as slow as normal post !!!!

Yeah, express post is lame. Though, I think auspost covers itself through their next business day guarantees, and their many asterixes along side destinations. They do have a fair bit of terms and conditions! Dont you hate the fine print!! Anyway, I guess I"ll have to wait for tomorrow. But I think they wouldve sent them as two halves, 12th and 13th. Or else thats a hell of a lot of mail!

hey, bad luck but dw, im sure u'll be right for the next round so when u say documentation, do u mean the application form we had to write out for JCU (i.e. those 4 questions) or do you mean other documentation, considering ur from NZ? cheers

I called up Genesse and she found my application for me. Turns out they didn't even consider it because I hadn't made the prerequisites so they're going to have take another look at my application for second round!

Fingers crossed Documentation as in certified copies of statement of results from the A levels I've done. QTAC didn't send them all the documentation I sent over so they thought I hadn't reached the English requirement so my application wasn't looked at

but for those who havent got any yet, don't lose hope, they'll definitely be more coming out in the next few days - my interview is on the 10th of dec.

i don't see why they wouldn't just send them all off at once... i'm pretty sure first round is done and dusted. for those who missed out (including myself), just wait till 2nd round. after all, there's no reason why express post shouldn't reach all the capital cities at the same time (with the exception of brisbane on friday)

I live in sydney and I think thats that.JCU was my only hope.I did think things were lookin suss when I applied early for accom and got knocked back so soon.How does round two go/work.I just feel so disheartened...

I cancelled my interview over the phone. It was for the 3rd of December (same day as Monash). I wonder if they reissue my place to someone else?
