eeeek. i want one! i'm in wagga though , do you think if i got one i'd get it later than others? my predicted atar was oonly 95 but i am rural and i thought my app was pretty good...

hey abbey91, id say you should get an interview hey. Id say give aus post a day or 2, since your in wagga. Im hoping for mine and im in wollongong! fingers crossed for both of us. and 95 isnt bad. good luck :)

if i dont get into jcu then i'll probably end up doing medical and health science at wollonong! what is your backup plan? but yeh i'll give it til wednesday till i get upset about not getting one :P contemplating ringing the faculty- but it would probably just annoy them to have a million people ringing , just need some patience i guess :P

haha, random, i graduated from the gong. Pretty good uni :)
And if you were to choose what course in the gong, dont be too phased by which one you pick, whether it be health sci or med sci. I seriously think the health sci degree is strange. Its like a mix of everything, but then again so is any other science degree. It just depends on what subjects you choose. But hope you dont have to think of that now ;)

And me, well, I've been lazy at the gamsat, though this time around if i have todo it, I will go hard, and try get a good mark. I think if i pass gamsat Im pretty good for UOW, but we shall see when that comes!

And dont bother ringing JCU, i tried this morning, they wouldnt budge! lol
But i really think you have a good chance being in yr 12! Just hang in there. Patience is a good trait for a future doc (coming from the guy who rang up the faculty!. Good luck!
 
I didnt have any rural experience and I got an invite. So ruralness is maybe not such a big factor if you write an alright essay.
 
is it for certain that they interview only 30 non standards? Cause i find it hard to believe that i got an offer then. or would they be interviewing more?

Well theres no certainty, though Ive heard people say they dont interview that many people compared to other unis, so if i was to say they interviewed about 2-3 people per spot, 30-40 would be the number........
But thats based on my calculations!
