Ok from what I can gather from this info is that ATAR/GPA and UCAT is irrelevant when offers are given unless people with identical interview scores need a tie breaker, then they use this info to give one person the offer.More info although a bit dated
- 2019 BDSc ATAR profile > Workbook: ATAR Profile
An ATAR profile is not available for this course. ATAR was not a factor in the selection.
- 2019 BDSc handbook > Bachelor of Dental Science
Following interview, applicants will be selected for offer based on interview outcome. When ranking applicants for an offer UMAT/GPA may be used to rank applicants with identical interview scores.
- 2016 CSU official reply to an FOI request > Dentistry - Admission Statistics and Selection Process - a Freedom of Information request to Charles Sturt University
Following the interview, applicants will be selected for an offer based on a combination of the UMAT score and your interview performance. Your ATAR/GPA may be used at this time to rank applicants with identical UMAT scores. (even back in 2016 ATAR wasn't used as a hurdle, only a tiebreak).
Based. So I guess I can stop stressing about GPA/ATAR messing with my chances as I thought my interview went pretty good.(even back in 2016 ATAR wasn't used as a hurdle, only a tiebreak).
. Anyway just want to know how many people got offers and intend to accept and actually go through with their CSU dent offer (rather than accept and wait for a more favourable preference), I'm trying to estimate how many spots are still available in the later offer rounds with this info and determine if I realistically still have a shot, idk if I should just assume I won't be getting an offer at this point or not.
