CSU CSU Dentistry: Q&A and General Discussion

Hi , I just received an offer for CSU which I declined . They are still calling people , so don't lose hope yet. Best of luck & I hope someone can get a nice surprise. Also if you do get a missed call , make sure to call them back as soon as possible. I had already decided prior to getting the call but they told I had around 30minutes to make a decision. They also said formal offers won't be sent to those people until they confirm via call/msg so you might not see something on UAC yet .
Oh crap, can you please give me the number that called you? I got 2 missed phone calls from unknown numbers yesterday and today (both different numbers) but when I try to call back it wont let me? (Answering machine says "this number is not accepting incoming phone calls")

has anyone notice that CSU has changed its selection criteria for CSU students.
Does this mean that a GPA of 5.5 from CSU will guarantee you an interview?

Domestic students
Applicants who are current CSU students
Interviews will be granted to current CSU student who meet the following criteria:
* Enrolled in any CSU course at the time of application and have completed at a minimum of 1 year full-time study (or equivalent) with a GPA of 5.5 or higher
OR
* Enrolled in any CSU course at the time of application and have completed less than 1 year full-time study (or equivalent) with a GPA of 5.5 or higher and an ATAR of > 90. Applicants who have previous tertiary study will have an ATAR equivalent calculated on the basis of their GPA.

It certainly seems to. I’m assuming there was no mention of UCAT? Have CSU students previously had to complete UCAT for dentistry? (I’m not super familiar with dent entry requirements)

Ucat is still required for students from other universities, interview offers might be based on UCAT scores?

Hey guys, I saw someone got an interview with approx 30% on the ucat as a rural applicant. What do u guys speculate would get u an interview this year as a rural?

This is literally impossible to answer with any degree of meaning. It could be something similar, it could be quite different.
