Does western sydney consider EAS on top of GWS for applicants or nah?
Edit: This is inregards to FO1D
Don't know what FO1D is, but iirc WSU has no EAS for GWS or non-GWS applicants.

In general, I don’t think UAC even displays your selection rank so you won’t even know how many bonus points you get. In fact, I don’t even know if you get more points for say a lower ATAR than when you get a higher ATAR. Which is weird since other stuff like SATAC displays your final selection rank and Monash has an SEAS calculator.Just curious will we ever know the amount of adjustment factors/points are added on to our atar or do they just keep us in the dark
oh so for SATAC they tell you (applying through both UAC and SATAC)?In general, I don’t think UAC even displays your selection rank so you won’t even know how many bonus points you get. On that note, I wonder if bonus points has a “diminishing returns” the higher your ATAR. It seems to be the case with Monash‘s SEAS calculator. Though I’m not sure if it’s the same with UAC.
Pinging A1 for clarification.
It depends on the scheme. UQ gives a straight 2 ATAR Rank points to LOTE/Maths C. UNSW iirc says they give from 1 to 3 ATAR bonus points depending on the categories of disadvantage. UWA/Curtin give no bonus, put them in a separate pool with its own place quota. So no diminishing returns with these unis.On that note, I wonder if bonus points has a “diminishing returns” the higher your ATAR.
how would this work for interstate?It depends on the scheme. UQ gives a straight 2 ATAR Rank points to LOTE/Maths C. It is diminishing with SATAC's 5 bonus aggregate points. From this table
> https://www.satac.edu.au/documents/aggregate_to_atar_conversion_table_2020.pdf
80.0agg = 94.0 , 80.0+5 = 98.0 : +4 ATAR points
84.2agg = 97.50 , 84.2+5 = 99.95 : +2.5 ATAR points
WSU disregards EAS regardless of your school leaver status. I’m not sure about non-standards and EAS for JMP, but it definitely doesn’t count for UNSW, they use SCATS instead for non-standards.Hey guys,
I'm a UNSW 2nd year student, wanting to apply for med next year at either JMP, UNSW, or WSU. Would I be eligible to apply for the same EAS categories as school leavers or are these options no longer available for me?
Thanks for clarifying. Ahh ok, does SCATS increase you atar and/or ucat? Does SCATS have the effect on one's application as EAS?WSU disregards EAS regardless of your school leaver status. I’m not sure about non-standards and EAS for JMP, but it definitely doesn’t count for UNSW, they use SCATS instead for non-standards.
Applicable to the Adelaide/Flinders medfor ues is it always 5 adjustment points added to the aggregate score or can it be less?
Just let the process happen!anyone know about how long it takes for your UES application to be accepted/rejected?
No, UES or EAS is a whole separate category of special consideration irrelevant to what high school program you're undertaking. Your friend may apply for UES/EAS as an IB student, but this will be for things like income, difficulties etc., not for doing the program itself.Hey guys sorry if this question has already been answered before, but can you get adjustment points (e.g. UES, EAS) for doing IB? (asking for a friend). Thanks
Thanks for the reply! Sorry I worded my question really bad haha! I was asking if IB students can also apply for UES and other adjustment points for income, difficulties.No, UES or EAS is a whole separate category of special consideration irrelevant to what high school program you're undertaking. In that case, yes they can! The same goes for any high school program outside of SA e.g. VCE, HSC etc.Thanks for the reply! Sorry I worded my question really bad haha! I was asking if IB students can also apply for UES and other adjustment points for income, difficulties.![]()
