Same here, I was told I was 75th on the list, so I actually started practicing Ucat already again, and suddenly got an offer yesterday. I am still shaking right now.called them the other day, the guy chuckled and said I was 500-600th on the waiting list, go an offer today at 2:28 PM? Oh well. Does anyone have any advice on which electives are cool?

All good.Hey if you don't mind me asking, I also called up today just to check since I didn't get an offer and was told I was 500-600th on the waiting list. I'm not really sure what to believe after hearing that others who are told they are 50-500th proceed to get an offer. Was the ATAR you posted in the offers thread with or without the UES? Since ATAR is weighted 90%, idk if my raw ATAR (i don't have ues) of 99.90 and UCAT of 3320 is out of the question when it comes to being weighted for an offer. Super confused and distraught at this point
Unfortunately the way Flinders has their admissions set up means that with a 99.90 ATAR, you need an impossibly high UCAT score to "compensate". Last year, when the UCAT cutoff was ~70th percentile for a 99.95 ATAR, the UCAT cutoff was somewhere between 3200 and 3400 for a 99.90 ATAR. This year, with the UCAT cutoff rising to the 80s for 99.95 ATARs, I can only imagine the UCAT required for a 99.90 ATAR would be off the chartsHey if you don't mind me asking, I also called up today just to check since I didn't get an offer and was told I was 500-600th on the waiting list. From memory BIOL1102 workshops are basically lectures where they go through assumed knowledge - they're good for if you haven't done Year 12 biology. But I personally never went to them and did fine despite not doing Year 12 Biology. So no, like all other lectures, attendance wasn't taken. A clash shouldn't be a problem. Keep in mind it's been quite a while since I did this topic so they might've changed things so have a look at your topic manuals to see what classes require attendanceQuick q, have clashing MDSC1102 and BIOL1102 (workshop), is attendance taken for the bio workshop? Ironically, you may have the best chance at Monash, as your scores are above the average interstate interviewee and Monash tends to give the majority of applicants who attended the interview an offer in the end (by virtue of how hard it is to get an interview in the first place). Good luck!Ah, I was afraid of that being the case. Thanks for the insight anyway!
Because I'm from New Zealand my ATAR actually came out too late for first round offers in most states, so was ineligible for Adelaide and UQ since they don't usually reserve spots for later rounds, even though I attended their interviews last year. Still waiting for other states to send out their second round offers since Monash, UWA, UNSW, WSU, and UoN did, to my knowledge, reserve some places for interstate/NZ applicants as they held their interview rounds in January.
Try asking again now that second round offers have finished. I’m estimating that you’re between 1 and 30 now on the wait list haha. May I ask what your ucat was?I was 70-90 on the list when I called on the 15th of January but I did not receive a top-up offer yesterday rip![]()
It was 82nd % I’m thinking I could even be between 1 and 15 if someone who was ranked 75th received an offerTry asking again now that second round offers have finished. I’m estimating that you’re between 1 and 30 now on the wait list haha. May I ask what your ucat was?
May I ask if you have any particular reasons to have 5 subjects instead of 4 subjects in semester 1 ?Can I get a bit of help with my timetable?
Thursday looks a bit... overcrowded.

No clue, am I meant to have 4?May I ask if you have any particular reasons to have 5 subjects instead of 4 subjects in semester 1 ?
from my understanding, 8 subjects per year, then 4 subjects per semester, unless you want to speed up the thing. Am I correct? anyone? No clue, am I meant to have 4?
Yep I believe that your right.from my understanding, 8 subjects per year, then 4 subjects per semester, unless you want to speed up the thing. Am I correct? anyone?
same. I guess we can figure it out once it starts. Can't waitYep I believe that your right.
I've withdrawn from some units and I've redone by timetable - I think it looks alot cleaner but some classes are stacked on top of each other.
Not sure how I'm gonna get to class to class in time honestly
EDIT: And some BIOL1102 classes don't seem to have a class number/room - it just says Bedford Park, did they just forget or are they just going to be held online/recorded on FLO?
