Ah that’s so frustrating, if that’s the case then there’s no logical reason that you missed out on an interview. If it’s any consolation there was a user I followed on PD this year who went through a huge ordeal applying for graduate entry because the uni wouldn’t consider her degree as 3FTE because she had transfer credits (got the ombudsman of the uni involved and everything) and eventually she won, got a late interview invite and a subsequent offer - hopefully it’s the same outcome for you if you keep contesting it.
Yes 100%

Will keep y’all updated :)

Already did

I emailed them earlier this year asking if they are considering me in the EAS pool because I thought last year I should’ve got an interview since my GPA was really strong & from previous years people got full offers with scores lower than mine. They didn’t reply. I emailed again today & will wait for a response but to be honest I’m just going to call them on Monday in the morning.

Also feels warm knowing you thought about me when you read the post haha thanks <3
Hey just a thought, when you did you EAS app for UNSW, did you fill out SCAT form? I did one and was told if you are a non standard you had to fill out a SCAT form not EAS (which is meant for school leavers) just a thought as to maybe why you didnt get an interview cause your scores seemed great. Good luck with your cal to UNSW!

Yeah I did the SCATS form. Most people on here aren't familiar with the name so I just call it EAS.

Thanks for the thought - luckily I was aware of this already!

Any idea when the invitation would be coming from Monash?

Thanks a lot. What time do Monash interview offers come out?

Will the Monash interview offers come today?
Thanks
According to the timeline on the admissions site they will be released any day of this week - last year they were released on the Wednesday at approximately 5am. Given VCE results were released on the Friday beforehand last year as well as this year, Wednesday onwards seems most likely again for this year.

I believe USyd now offers EAS to DDMD applicants now which lowers the ATAR requirement to 99.5 for these students - I think I heard this from Smelly Boy?
Yeah my friend applied with 99.85 (I think). he said E12 scheme (for ppl from disadvantaged schools) will allow 99.5 to interview

Hi I have an interview at Newcastle/New England based on a UMAT of 82 (59 in S1), but my ATAR is only 98.2. I am non-rural so is there any hope for me to get in from the interview?

Hi Priyanka,
Once you meet the cut off for an interview, your ATAR and UMAT no longer matter as long as they were above the cut off to get an interview. The offer is based 100% off the interview, so yes you can definitely get an offer if you do well in the interview. Best of luck :)
