Interviews are indeed based only on UCAT. ATAR is a hurdle which will only come into play after the interviews.

Because WSU places a high weighting on VR score. Read around the forum for more details - there's been plenty of discussion about it.
JMP minimum was 2840 as confirmed by Sue Gardener by email on the JMP thread in the specific university forums.
As for other unis? considering UAdel lies between 84th and 89th, I suspect you might be likely to get an interview there

Wow, geez!
Im pretty gutted as well ... I'm in Year 12 so probably could have tried to put more time into UCAT (I did do a fair bit tho) but that would have been quite detrimental to school marks. I'm currently hoping that maybe a good ATAR will help me out for UNSW interviews but this has certainly taken our my mojo.

I received a UCAT of 97% (3010) and didn't receive an invite from JMP. My GPA meets their requirements too. Any idea why?
If you're not NSW/not rural don't worry - they're coming out later.

Try calculate your 55%VR + 5%DM + 20%QR + 20%AR , if it comes out less than 735 that's the reason WSU have not extended you an invite despite a high percentile.

Do you reckon I could use UCAT resources to prepare for the PQA test? Any suggestions on how I could work on the MSA & PQA? Panic button definitely turned on right now!

PQA is a personal qualities assessment, so no it is more of a personality test that if you try to study for you might just game yourself into losing as we don't know what they want/personality traits are optimal. So don't worry too much about that.

is the 2840 cutoff for JMP only for NSW and them or would it apply to VIC too rip
I'd assume that it's the cutoff for all non-rural/special consideration applicants
