What's out bets on adelaide for tomorrow? I think they will be slightly lower than JMP considering SA has a lower year 12 student/medical place ratio. I sure hope they are because I only just scraped through for JMP

Edit: lower not higher oops

hello does anyone know if WSU application required us to explicitly state that we're within GWS region or is that automatically determined from the address/postcode we provided?

Considering last year's cutoff was 89.x and the year before that 83-84, anything's possible to be honest

I believe you were required to state that you were GWS in the application.

Based on JMP I predict 88%ile for Adelaide med.

Last year first post for Adelaide dent was 12 noon Sydney time, first med was 12.30pm.

If I put dentistry at Adelaide uni as my fourth preference could I still get an interview for this course (as well as a first preference course at Adelaide uni)?

what time usually are med interview offers released?????? tomorrow

Also, a head's up: Adelaide like to roll the invites out slowly over a period of time. They don't usually all come out at once.

Yes, as long as it's in your preferences somewhere and you're eligible, you will receive an invite.

But to check if you got an interview offer wouldn't it show in the 'status' section of the SATAC application for the course your applying or is it different?

on SATAC my dental preference at Uni Adelaide says 'Awaiting Assessment' does that mean they are waiting for my ATAR i thought they send out interviews too??

interviews are being sent out tomorrow. Has awaiting assessment on my status too.

My flinder's status says 'eligible for consideration'. Does this mean I'm likely to get an interview or is it just subjects wise?

There is no interview for flinders. Only ATAR and UCAT score are used for final selection.

"It is expected that applicants will need to achieve an ATAR of 95 or above (after the addition of any relevant adjustment factors) to be competitive for a place. Ranking for offers of places will be based on a rank combining Year 12 subject results (90%) and a UCAT ANZ-derived score (10%), which will be based on results from four sections of the UCAT ANZ test (Verbal Reasoning, Decision Making, Quantitative Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning), with each section equally contributing to the UCAT ANZ-derived score."

what time do interviews come out tomorrow for adelaide uni?
They haven't specified a time on their website, only the date. Quoting A1 "Last year first post for Adelaide dent was 12 noon Sydney time, first med was 12.30pm." --> So around then if similar to last year.

So, people who gets early can book a place that they like but people who gets it another day have less places to book. Is that how it happens?

If that's the case I would assume they would hold booking until all the invites have been sent out.
