JMP already confirmed that if you contact them on Monday they will change your time. Also, don't forget to factor in the various time zone differences that exist across the country at the moment when you're rescheduling.

Ah thank god, yep i'll definitely keep that in mind when i call them on monday!
Thank you for the quick reply :) !

hey guys, i received an email for UQ medicine briefing session and they gave me a time for 9th of November however this clashes with my HSC Chemistry exam :/? i emailed them and i have no replies back and its been a day and my hsc is in less than 2 days. im not sure what i should do

i should also mention that they said this is compulsory

This is not ideal, but maybe call them before your exam (depends what the time of the exam is though). When one of my interview clashed (not UQ) they were more than happy to change it, so I'm assuming the change isn't an issue, but rather getting in touch with them.
I guess you could also call them after your exam and explain the situation and refer to the email you sent as evidence.

Hey, when I booked that UQ briefing session it said you could choose the date/time you wanted? I also have HSC chem on Monday so I made sure to book after that date. I received a confirmation email saying that I'd booked the briefing and on my email it has a link where you can change the date/time of your booking - are you sure you don't have that option on your confirmation email?

Hi all, I have a hypothetical question that I'm sure some past applicants have experienced...

What is expected if you receive an offer you know you will take (e.g ADL), but still have an interview elsewhere (e.g. NSW) coming up. Should you still go or let them know you will not attend as you have no intention of accepting a place there anymore?

It's perfectly okay to turn down an interview after initially accepting one - all universities understand this and would prefer you told them so they can either a. have one less interview to conduct or b. give your interview to someone else on the waiting list. Chuck their admissions team an email explaining your situation and they'll be happy to accommodate.

This is the exact reason UNSW, JMP, Monash, UWA, Curtin hold a separate interview round for interstates in late January, which is after home state offers have been released, to give you the option not to go to their interview. They wouldn't be upset at all if you don't turn up.

You don't even need to explain anything, simply say thank you very much I no longer want your invite :)

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows whether the UCAT cutoffs For interviews are different or similar within state and interstate RURAL applicants.

Hi,

I believe they're identical, I can't think of a uni off the top of my head that has different cutoffs for local and interstate rural applicants because they generally have a single rural round of interviews.

My JMP invite says the drop in orientations are next week commencing on the 16th. I've been hearing this was an error and that it was actually this week?

Hi all, I know some NSW students have received interview invitation from WSU. Does WSU send to studnets of other states now? such as VIC.
BTW: I assume they select by UCAT and predicted ATAR, is it right?
many thanks.

As has been mentioned over and over again, interstate invites are due for release in December. And as has also been said over and over (and over) again, it’s UCAT only for interview invites.

Hey guys, hopefully me asking this doesn't break any NDA so please ignore/delete if it does!
In the past for MMI's, were we told at each station how many questions were going to be asked or do we not know?

Thank you very much for your reply. But as I know someone in VIC received interview invitation from UQ. The guy's UCATis 3200+.

Hey guys,
I was just wondering, for JMP, if you receive an interview does that mean you’ve already met the GPA/ATAR cutoff, like the UCAT? Or is that detail determined later?

thanks!
