Would it be strange or reasonably expected for it to be 1 per 8 minutes?
One question per eight minutes? Unless it's some sort of long scenario question where you solve a problem, I don't see how anyone could possibly talk for eight minutes non-stop about an MMI scenario.

You mean 1 question for 8 minutes?

Edit - longest I know is the Adelaide Uni one where they give you 5 minutes to read a scenario - so you're expected to speak for longer (5 to 8 mins ish) but with like 2 minutes of preparation that seems very unreasonable

hey, i was wondering whether monash gives 7 mins or 8 mins per scenario? i've heard some people say 7 and some say 8 so slightly confused and concerned now haha.
also does monash now only have 4 stations? because the email i got confirming my interview said "You will be interviewed separately by four interviewers and be required to read scenarios prior to each interview."

UQ had 8 MMI stations where you had to speak for 7 mins each.
Was there just a single question given to you at the start and then zero interaction with, or follow up questions from, the interviewers from the moment you walk through the door (so to speak)? Yikes. That’s freaking intense, if so!!

2 mins to read the scenario, which then had about 3 questions about it. No feedback from interviewers, just 7 mins to answer all 3 questions!

Oh, yeah, that’s fair. I think the OP was talking about the possibility of 8 minutes for a single question, which is pretty unheard of, I think.

Hey everyone! Long time lurker here ☺️ I recently received an interview invite from WSU which was extremely unexpected so I was wondering which threads would give me more info about their interview process and if there are any discord servers already made for this? Thanks!

If you don’t mind, could you please confirm when you received your invite, whether it’s via CSU or WSU, and what your UCAT results were in the Interview Invite thread? It would be much appreciated!

Hey guys, does monash provide you with a timer during the mmi on zoom? Like is there a way to track the time you have been speaking for in the interview?

No they don't. Don't worry though - they will cut you off to ensure you have time to answer all questions.

I doubt it, but if you want something (I don’t reckon you’ll need it, tbh), I used an on-line timer during my OSCEs. I just had it in the corner of my screen and operated it myself.

For Monash, does anyone know whether it is 2 minutes of reading time and 8 minutes of speaking time or whether it is 2 minutes reading 6 minutes speaking (8 minutes in total)?
