It's already administered online (you just sit at a computer in a big room to do it), so if they wanted to keep it as part of the process, I can't imagine it would be that difficult.

That's true, but how will they ensure interviewees don't get external help during the PQA?
Sorry to backtrack a bit on this thread! - but in this case would it be worth mentioning what degree I have been completing as a non-standard at all? In terms of the value add to an interview, I feel I would rather focus on what I have been able to experience/learn over the 2 years I have had post school. Still just feeling a little conflicted if I should bring up the fact I have been doing Law as a friend of mine pointed out that bringing it up may make me come across as someone who is just piggy-backing different 'prestigious' careers (which is absolutely not the case and I would hate for it to come across that way).
On a separate note, and just for JMP interviews more broadly, I've found the best way for me to answer MMI questions and to ensure I don't ramble and cover all the points I want to during the short time frame is to use signposting. I don't plan on memorising answers to interview questions but I am just wary of the fact that it may seem as if I am regurgitating preprepared answers when I'm actually just trying to stay on point? Anyone else have this issue?![]()
Look this is an odd question, but what happens if you have finished earlier than the 8 minutes. surely you don't sit there in an awkward silence or something?
CSU has updated their website re: the interview process. They are going online! (attached)... will be interesting to see if WSU follows suit...
There’s currently 143. I actually have several hundreds more to add in, but I just haven’t got around to it yet. I haven’t had any complaints from users that have got through them all and are looking for more, though! Thanks. How many questions are in the mmi bank as it’s gonna take me ages to go through them all. Thanks
Nice. However mate , it would be better if the accessibility was better. What I mean is by adding a screen where you can select which Q to go to rather than constantly clicking next to get to the Q you left off from. Thanks
I can talk to our developer about that - I don’t know how much work would be involved. The current format offers an advantage in that the questions are unknown, just as they would be in a real interview. Though, I can appreciate how that would be helpful as well.Nice. Just for you:Hi, just wondering which uni's have confirmed their interview's are online as of now?
I have the same issues (domestic applicant to NSW undergrad unis UNSW, WSU, JMP) except that I currently live and work in Belgium. Seems to be a predicament unless all schools allow online interviews.Hello guys, I am a Year 13 student living in Auckland. I have applied for a few universities (one in Victoria state, one is Brisbane and one in NSW). My UCAT score is not as good as some of yours but it is quite close to 3000. However, my main worry is that due to Covid-19, I may not be able to attend any interview even if I am lucky enough to be invited.
As long as the lockdown is in place (even level 1), the first issue is that I cannot enter Australia as I am not a citizen there. A Skype interview is not an option for me as I will be regarded as a domestic student. The second issue is that my last NZ National Exam will be on the 2nd Dec for me due to two weeks delay by the NZ government, meaning I only have limited options in terms of a number of universities I can apply for and it might clash with interviews. My last concern is that as long as lockdown + travel restrictions remain, the 14 days quarantine requirement has to be met. Then, in my case, I need 14 days once I arrive in Australia if I somehow get there, and 14 days quarantine when I am back here in Auckland. I cannot afford the quarantine cost twice not to mention spending 28 days in quarantine.
Does Anyone have any advice for me? I don’t see this coronavirus thing will go away before December.

For those unis that have confirmed they will be conducting interviews on campus, do u know how they will treat interstate applicants that cannot attend a face to face interview because of COVID? (Will they be strict abt it and say if u can’t attend the interview you will no longer be considered or are there regulations in place to prevent this during extreme circumstances)Several Aus med schools have announced they might/will conduct online interviews even for domestic applicants.
This will be complete guess work from anyone that answers this other than the universities themselves. For those unis that have confirmed they will be conducting interviews on campus, do u know how they will treat interstate applicants that cannot attend a face to face interview because of COVID?
