How long do interviews at WSU/CSU, UON/UNE & UNSW go for ? I understand that there is a MMI for WSU & PQR (I think that's what UON calls it from what I gathered in this forum). Wondering all up face-to-face in the past, how long do applicants spend on each ? Thank you if you could shed some light.

For the JMP, last year i was required to register at 12:30pm at was told the MSA/PQA would end at around 5:30pm, but IIRC it ended maybe an hour earlier then expected

My UNSW interview went for 25-30 minutes, then the two interviewers asked me to wait outside while they deliberated my score. There was no disagreement between them so they came out a few minutes later told me I could leave. (But if they couldn't agree a third interviewer would be called and I would need to go back in to participate).

WSU in a normal year is 8 stations of 8 minutes + 2 minute break each, total around 1.5 hours.

Are all the stations in the MMI format (where you are given a prompt and you discuss it with the interviewers) Or are there stations where they ask “why do you want to be a doctor?”.

It’s common knowledge that the UNSW is panel-style; you can expect the questions to reflect that.

As above, for MMI-style interviews, prepare for all question types.

With regards to interviews for JMP, I’ve called up UNE who asked me to call the university of Newcastle, who ended up giving me an email address which doesn’t even work (it was supposedly their admissions email address).
Just wanted to keep u guys updated. If anyone actually reaches them and finds anything abt what they’ll be doing for interviews for interstate applicants, please let us know.

^^ Thats the email for JMP admissions, in the 3 or 4 times ive emailed in the past, theyve typically got back to me within 24 hours

JMP just got back to me saying they are “currently planning for how the interviews will be administered this year, in light of the restrictions related to COVID. Once a decision is made advice will be made available on our web site.”
Looks like there’s a good chance of online interviews imo
