This further confirms that the university admissions staff are watching our every move on MSO.Hey guys long time lurker here and just had a look at the WSU site and it seems they have also switched to videoconference interviews. I would post a screenshot but idk how to xD. But im sure you can have a look yourselves![]()
Similarly to how Monash has changed the number of MMI stations down to six, do we reckon WSU would do the same?
How long do interviews at WSU/CSU, UON/UNE & UNSW go for ?
Are all the stations in the MMI format (where you are given a prompt and you discuss it with the interviewers) Or are there stations where they ask “why do you want to be a doctor?”.My UNSW interview went for 25-30 minutes, then the two interviewers asked me to wait outside while they deliberated my score. There was no disagreement between them so they came out a few minutes later told me I could leave. (But if they couldn't agree a third interviewer would be called and I would need to go back in to participate).
WSU in a normal year is 8 stations of 8 minutes + 2 minute break each, total around 1.5 hours.

Sorry, my bad.We signs NDAs so can’t answer this. You should prepare for all possibilities.
It’s common knowledge that the UNSW is panel-style; you can expect the questions to reflect that. Are all the stations in the MMI format (where you are given a prompt and you discuss it with the interviewers) Or are there stations where they ask “why do you want to be a doctor?”.
I haven't started my full on prep yet (will probably do so after percentiles and my exams in December), but there's no harm in looking at prompts.I see many people are starting interview prep! Is it recommended we start now or wait until the percentiles come out?
I can see an up side to early prep and a downside to leaving your prep too late. Start now!I see many people are starting interview prep! Is it recommended we start now or wait until the percentiles come out?
Thanks, the one they gave me was “[email protected]”. I was hella confused with where jmc came from and even after checking with her she confirmed it. To be fair it could have been a bit of miscommunication.[email protected]
^^ Thats the email for JMP admissions, in the 3 or 4 times ive emailed in the past, theyve typically got back to me within 24 hours
