Yeah I've also applied to WSU and UON.

UoN and UNSW have similar pathways, while WSU only requires an interview.

hey guys does CQU have a QLD only Quota cause the only interstate offers i heard for CQU was 3130 and 3150, i cant seem to find anything do any of you all know whats happening?

I hope they're still rolling out the interviews coz i got a 3100(NSW) and haven't gotten an interview

I got 3370 and got rejected from CQU interviews..... I'm from NZ though so I was wondering if anyone has a guess on how they decide?
Does this mean I should remove CQU from my preferences?

Did you get a formal rejection notification? If so, would you mind sharing what it says, if not, I wouldn’t be removing anything yet in case invites are still rolling out. This is the first year so we have no patterns to guide likely scenarios.

Yeah sure, I got "No - you were not selected for an interview" on my QTAC and no correspondence and in entry requirements it says Not Satisfied........ quite sad haha.. nothing formal though

- Invitation to interview (MMI) will be based on the ranking of the aggregate score from the first four sections of UCAT ANZ

Given that yellowmellow a NSW non-rural applicant got both UQ & CQU with 3150 UCAT there's no ground for CQU rejecting you 3370. You should call both QTAC & CQU to challenge them.

On second thought, jhsane did you only apply for CQU bonded? NZ applicants are not eligible for bonded places.

I can definitely do that, I just don't want to be one of a bunch of people bothering them asking the same question.

I got an email back, and all they did was send me the link to their WSU Medicine Important Dates page, and Medicine FAQs. Not very helpful.

I think it’s pretty useful. They’ve clearly updated the Important Dates page to reflect the current state of play (delayed ATAR release), so it’s possible to take the information provided at face value, I’d think. Interview invites released in “late October”.

I applied for CSP for both preferences 3rd and 4th (( I read that form this morning and got really confused too...
I sent them a query form this morning and I'll call them and QTAC on Monday...? I'm assuming they won't answer or work weekends haha

yes i did it with griffith dent, i told them i had an exam on the 26th and they noted it and gave me a time in the morning on the 25th so that i had time to study for my exam

Wait...you got a time for the griffith dent interview??

I thought they gave the actual times in November?

i think its because they have a quota on locals now which may be the reason

Will the CQU have second round of interview invite? If 'Yes', will they consider the the students for whom they have already sent "No- You were not selected for interview". If CQU is not going to have second round of interview invite , what is the point of keeping it in our preferences?

You have until early December to add USC in. For now I suggest you swap prefs to raise CQU to highest, UQ lowest, then ask CQU why a Qld 86th%ile 2890 got an invite but not you.
