If it’s any help, apparently the direct entry cutoff was 92% last year.
Im pretty sure the cutoff for dentistry last year was 92 minimum (including for those waitlisted) right?? not direct entry?

Someone else will have to confirm this, but I believe 92% was the direct entry cutoffIm pretty sure the cutoff for dentistry last year was 92 minimum (including for those waitlisted) right?? not direct entry?
No, the cutoff was 83.86%Someone else will have to confirm this, but I believe 92% was the direct entry cutoff
That was for the 2017 cohort who applied to do dentistry in 2018No, the cutoff was 83.86%
No, the cutoff was 83.86%
For 2018 the cutoff entry was 92% for first round offersSomeone else will have to confirm this, but I believe 92% was the direct entry cutoff
For 2018 the cutoff entry was 92% for first round offers
For 2017 the cutoff entry was 83.86% for first round offers.
Subsequent offers from second round offers will be lower than the cutoff offers.
Damn did they make a big change in that year or was the cohort just smarter? For 2018 the cutoff entry was 92% for first round offers

I think what happened was they accepted too many people in 2017, so they drastically increased the cutoff last year to limit the number of people taken inDamn did they make a big change in that year or was the cohort just smarter?
I have no idea, sorry.does that also include offers for rural and Maori applicants?
I believe (someone correct me if I am wrong) but in 2017, the dent school gave out too much offers, and many people accepted, hence they started offering 10k scholarships to people to defer their offer (by 1 year) which could meant that the number of seats available for 2018 cohort was chopped off a little bit, leading to increase in cutoff? (just my speculation)Damn did they make a big change in that year or was the cohort just smarter?
I doubt it. Cutoffs for rural and Maori applicants tend to be lower that those applying under general entry. However, due to lack of data, we don't actually know how much lower.does that also include offers for rural and Maori applicants?
I have no idea unfortunately, it varies from year to year.Do u know the cut off after the people on the waitlist have been accepted for 2017 and 2018?
When offers/ declines start coming out, are they as notifications on eVision or emails?
Oh that's interesting, I thought it would be an eVision notification bc my backup BSci application had one.I'm not sure if you get notified on evision. I think you'll just have to keep refreshing the "programmes and papers" page but I predict release around Friday the 13th of December +/- a few days.
I asked my friend and she said she just kept refreshing the page on her phone last year.
