I see… waiting for another yr is quite a long wait esp Med cycle is only one per yr just like my A level release in Feb this yr.

It was at the start of October. Have you had your interview? Also have you applied to Griffith or UQ?

I heard a few of mufy students who finished this October, got their offers in early December but I haven't heard anything too!

What was your GPA?Hi! I'm an international student currently a first year uni student and I just got a conditional offer from WSU medicine. The condition was to submit my first year university transcript and I was wondering does anyone know what their cutoff is for the uni GPA or WAM? My uni does a scale of 4.0 GPA but WSU seems to go for the other scale (is it 7.0 max? I'm not sure). How can I convert the GPA then?

PagingDr releases a spreadsheet of offer scores, is there something similar for this forum?
Nope. We get very minimal traffic from international students. A compilation of results from here would be pretty meaningless, unfortunately.

Anyone taking the ISAT first cycle this year? Hoping to find someone to work together for it 
Just an FYI in case this is not already common knowledge:
The Tasmanian Health Service (THS) ranks international med grads from University of Tasmania (UTAS) second in the priority listing for internships (ahead of interstate domestic grads) and for the past four years at a minimum, every international grad from UTAS has received a THS internship if they have wanted it. Important to note, however, that the RHH is routinely oversubscribed by domestic grads and so those that do want an internship typically end up in Launceston (LGH) or on the NW Coast (NWRH). I've noted, however, that the Launceston Clinical School seems to be very popular for international students, so this is perhaps not too much of a downside.
