Got an interview offer from UAdel. Try to log in to book the interview time using the provided username and password, but failed. Anyone can log in to book the interview time?
I need to clarify, did you get a umat of 189 and got an offer at Adelaide and are interstate non-rural?

Need help, apparently this person got an offer with umat 189 and I didn't with 190, any suggestions?

Might be dependent on location as well. There are no undergrad medical schools in Brisbane but there are in Melbourne, and thus the uni is more likely to give a first round offer to the 96%ile from someone who would have to move regardless for medical school over someone who might still stay in the same city.

I would send an email to Beverly Karaffa (assuming she's still there) alerting to the situation. Search UAdel website for her email address but can also use [email protected] .

This is a bit excessive. Qld has UQ, even though its not undergrad its still basically guaranteed grad

Ah but it's not, you need to maintain a decent GPA as well. Provisional medicine is NOT the same as undergraduate entry medicine as much as people treat it that way.

I understand but there is nowhere on the UAdel website that it says they prefer QLD over over states so I think there might of been a mistake.

Feel free to contact the faculty about this, but I can tell you now that having done some work with the Adelaide admissions crew that they're actually pretty logical in the sense that they really do take into account your location when offering first vs second round interviews. We had a meltdown one year when we lost half the interviewers for the day because they were off assessing medical students in their clinical exam and people had to wait several hours for their interviews. We rebooked all the Adelaide locals and prioritised the interstaters who had a flight.
