Had UMAT of 61/57/51 (80%ile)
Rural: No
Interstate: Yes
Non standard: Yes
Got the email at 3:56 PM.
Have to sort out travel and accomodation for the interview. Congratulations to everyone else as well who got the interview offers.

Got offers for interview at JMP and UWS
UMAT 96%
67/74/51
Interstate, non-standard
Email came at 4.03pm for JMP, earlier in the day for UWS.

Not many options other than driving down. I looked up flights from brisbane, which are like $450 minimum. Train from brissy take approx a whole day to get to armidale, as per google.
Jeez that's a bit of a pain. Ah well :) road trip should be fun with me in a total panic XD

Hahaha true...its approx a 5hr drive from where i live, m planning to a leave a day before the interview and book an accomodation somewhere. Wonder why they gave most of queenslanders interview at armidale, when its so hard to get there. I am gonna b bored as anything while driving down and obviously a bit nervous as well.. :-S

When I compiled that table didn't know cutoff last year was 60. Lowest I saw posted on MSO was 61 so I thought I'd put in 62 to push you guys a little harder haha.

Bear in mind that it's still possible to rank all the people who got 60. Interviews are determined by the capacity of the interviewing venue, so it's possible that a high 60 got an interview and a low 60 didn't (where the difference in ranking is made up by the other two section scores).

Hahaha..i remember trying to correct u a couple of times ( with no response from you ). Was trying to keep the hopes up for myself. Your table had certainly made me to go through thousands of forums on the internet about previous cut off scores. lol

It's five hours from where I live as well. Podcasts are great to listen to! Maybe some mindfulness ones or just ones on your favourite topic to get your mind off how long the drive is. I haven't driven solo for more than 3 hours so it should be an interesting experience. Definitely going to be loading up on some true crime and Hamish and Andy podcasts to listen to XD

Are you from the gold coast by any chance? I reckon podcast is a good idea. Lol. Plus driving down south got so e good views on the way, which will probably help a bit as well. I have done max of 2 and half to 3 hrs of solo drive as well, dont knw what its gonna be like to drive on my own for 5 hrs. :/

I am, yes. Perhaps we should rent a bus? Does anyone on here have a heavy vehicle licence?;)

Perhaps they want you to have the proper rural/regional experience, five hour drive included.
I snorted so unattractively at that post, good lord. Proper rural experience indeed, nothing more exciting then breaking down halfway into your drive and having to hitchhike to your med interview XD

I'm coming down from Brisbane, can't wait for the drive haha, what time are your interviews by the way? Mine is at 2:50PM on the 25th.
