Non-rural non standard here too and no invite. I looked at last year's thread and someone did get an invite an hour after most. But I still think it's unlikely they'll be sending out more invites

Last year my non-rural non-standard friend received a second round interview invite

I don't think it's unheard of to get an invite without a predicted ATAR but it's very rare from what's been said here over the years, and tends to be very rural applicants with exceptional written applications for whom ATAR is almost going to be *irrelevant.

(*eta obviously ATAR is never completely irrelevant, but you get my illustrative point, I'm sure!)

No. I’m a 2022 school leaver in an urban area without any considerations applied for on QTAC. I think this round was for the general school leaver cohorts, unless someone knows otherwise.

JCU interview selection is based on combination of [ATAR/GPA + the written application]. So this first round is primarily for applicants, whether school leaver or nonstandard, with sufficient ATAR/GPA data for JCU to use in this formula.

Applicants with (a) no predicted ATAR or (b) insufficient predicted ATAR or (c) first-year uni with only one semester completed to date i.e. insufficient GPA, generally have to wait for 2nd round selection when their actual ATAR / full-year GPA is known.

I’m a third year student who is still awaiting 2nd trimester grades. Is it likely that I’d be considered more for second round offers than, or will they just use all my grades to date without considering 2nd trimester?
