JMP JMP: General Entry Discussion

If you can log in and see an offer than yes it means you didnt get UNSW. If you can just log in then idk (probably the case you didnt get an offer for UNSW)

Can login but no offers there, better to wait till Friday morning to solve this mystery. Not sure how Universities exchange data to make offers to the students. I thought all universities send the data to UAC and UAC make an offer to the student, I may be wrong.

Is it possible that they have made myhub accounts for everyone they were going to send an offer to, but havent actually sent it yet? In which case, anyone that cant log in means they aren't getting in? idk

Last year, people who weren’t able to log in received offers too. I get that you’re nervous too - we’re in the same boat - but we don’t know anything, so it’s best not to speculate and add further fuel to the fire.

I suspect the reason why some people have accounts is that theyre in the process of still making myHub accounts. Although it is still a few days off so i wouldnt jump to conclusions (last year many people weren't able to log in the night before and still got offers)

Also do the offers that come on the 8th include interstate people? i know interstate interview round is later on but they interviewed some interstate people in the first round too. do these people get theres on the 8th or later with the other interstate people?

I imagine JMP first sends UAC a rank list of their top say 400 interviewees. UAC cross checks against UNSW/WSU's rank lists and the applicants' preferences. Then UAC sends back to JMP a list saying your 170 offers should go to #2, 3, 6, 8, 11 etc all the way down to possibly #300s (because all the ones in between are getting their UNSW/WSU higher prefs). Only then JMP works out among these 170 who get unbonded vs bonded, UoN vs UNE campus. This must have been going on the last several days.

JMP first round interviews include rural, NSW, ACT, QLD applicants, they will all take part in this offer round.

Just putting in my two cents, last year I was able to login about 24 hours before offers were released. Didn’t see any offers made or being offered anything but received an offer for Newcastle in first round. It’s definitely a very promising sign!

If you don't mind me asking, did you put Newcastle as first preference?

I THINK all offers are released by 7:30 but I think in previous years they began rolling them out slightly earlier. I could be wrong tho so dont take this too seriously

Just a question, if someone does get an offer: do they get an email around 1-3/7:30am OR are they able to check on the UAC website or both, thanks :)
