My guess would be the Aspire program.

Hey, I was looking through the web-page and I couldn't see any list of courses applicable for this Early admissions program so I was wondering where I could see if it was applicable for dentistry

I’ve no idea. I just know we’ve had people report early Aspire Dent offers here pretty routinely. Not many, maybe one a year (and if not a confirmed offer, at least some applicants). It has definitely included Dent previously. There are (at least) 2 Aspire Dent offers mentioned on page 6 of this thread.

Hi there! The current aspire ATAR for Latrobe dent is 94. Do we except this to go up next year with covid becoming a thing of the past?

Hi all

I contacted LaTrobe and they informed me that

if you applied by the 30th of September, offers will be released on the 19th of November. If you applied after the 30th of September, offers will be released on the 14th of January 2022.

As such, if this is correct, potentially some of us may see offers this Friday!

Does anyone have any idea of what the usual cut off for UCAT is for a non standard. Unfortunately last year there were very few reported and so not a good indication.

Is this early offer only applicable to those with >1 year of study?

I'm a non-standard but I haven't received my first year, semester 2 results. So I am assuming they base this on semester 1 results and UCAT only?
They told me offers for non-standard are based predominately on UCAT

"All applicants who have completed higher education studies will need to complete a UCAT to support their application. Your results on the UCAT will be the primary consideration for your application"

Sorry, I don't know much else as it's a bit of a confusing process....

No early round offer :(
GPA 6.625
UCAT: 3,000 (92nd percentile)
If you don’t get an early round offer, does that mean you are out of the running altogether, or could you get one eventually as declines come in? Your scores are so close to those getting early offers last year that I can’t help but think you’ve have to be in with a shot. We don’t get much LaTrobe data so I’m not sure how much movement there usually is. My fingers are crossed for you!

Hey
Yeah I’m pretty disappointed as I thought my scores were pretty good :’(
No. Not out of the running. Says I will be considered in main January round.
I guess I was just hoping for an offer to take the pressure off the interviews I have coming up. Would have been nice to just know I had something solid.
I have my Griffith and Adelaide interviews next week and then CSU interview on the 9th of December. Fingers crossed for something :/
