Has anyone got 2nd/3rd round offers for CSU dent or had any communications with them post 1st round offers in terms of eligibility? Thanks

I was just wondering if there's any data about how many local applicants get a second round offer for UNSW? I understand that it's very dependent on the year and the quality on the interstate applicants, but do we have an idea of whether they generally reserve too many interstate places?

UNSW set aside an ample number of places but they are *not reserved* for interstate applicants. All remaining applicants from 1st round and interstate applicants in 2nd round are put together into one pool to compete equally for the set-aside places.

Awesome news!! I see your ATAR was 99.50 (fantastic work!). Just wondering if you also had any UES bonus points on top of that. Also, what was your UMAT result?

I logged in directly to Flinders student system website. Using SATAC number with dob as password. UMAT 170 with UES claim

A1 Sorry if you've already answered this (I've tried reading all of the posts above), but does this mean that UNSW is not going to offer any more interviews (second round)? I thought there would be another round of interview offers after IB results are released for the IB + UMAT combo?

There is one more round of interviews for UNSW. I think they are in late Jan. They will be sending out invites to eligible candidates soonish.

I called Zara Cupina the other day, UNSW Medicine admissions officer, and she said that she's going to email out the interview offers for interstate applicants on Wednesday or Thursday at the latest so don't worry too much yet.

Good to know! We'll know in 4ish minutes when QTAC offers are supposed to start to be released if I need to be worried (knowing my luck, I'll have to probably stay up all night waiting! I'm overseas atm so it's about 10:30pm here... fingers crossed they actually come out on time)...
