Med and Dent - 2018 Entry (Place Offers and Discussion)

Well done on the offers guys! :)

Not sure if it belongs here (should I put it on the main entrance discussion area instead?), but I was wondering what all the non-standard people were studying in uni to get such high GPA's :O (I've read the post about common pitfall's to avoid, but I was still curious)

I know this site is highly against medical science (as am I now after having done a year of it and actually done some research). But for what it’s worth I did my first year of uni in the medical science course at UWS to get a gpa of 7. Though if I had my time again I’d go into either nursing or paramedicine.

Most likely yes, since the interview counts equally in the final ranking. We've heard of higher ATAR+UMAT missing out let alone a BMP offer.

Ahh ok. Yeah, I was looking into nursing at one point as well. What about UNSW Optometry, or UNSW Engineering, do you think a GPA of 7 is achievable in the first year of those courses?

There definitely isn't here (I think we've only had 3 or 4 CSU dent offers even reported, including yours just now). I'm sure there is a FB group though, because there's one for just about everything :D
