If you have no other offers then it's probably worth it if you really want to do medd cause it's 8 years at most, you could get it down to 6 or 7 by reapplying every year to the non standard unis and applying at the end of your bachelor to the 4 year postgrad courses.Stoked!!

yeah i think suggesting he's won the jackpot is a bit of a stretch lol, the jackpot is getting into an undergrad 5 year degree on your first attemptIf your decision is between taking the UTAS offer and no med offer at all..... then it is definitely worth it.
The alternative is to think about a non-standard or grad pathway. 1) the alternative might not come off. 2) if you take the UTAS pathway then you can still pursue the alternatives. Provided you can fund living away form home then I would suggest you have won the jackpot!
At this stage of the year.... it is a big win.yeah i think suggesting he's won the jackpot is a bit of a stretch lol, the jackpot is getting into an undergrad 5 year degree on your first attempt

it's really not though, the jackpot is the best possible outcome and getting offered bmedres provisional entry really isn't..Any opportunity to study medicine (for someone who really wants it) is a jackpot
i mean it's not bad, it's just not much of a jackpotAny opportunity to study medicine (for someone who really wants it) is a jackpot
