For all the Monash people, how do we find out if it's unbonded or not?
My emails says:
Course:

Monash University - Clayton
Medicine - School Leaver Entry
Monash get started says:
You have been offered a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) in Medicine - School Leaver Entry at Clayton.

Can CSP be unbonded or bonded?

Also seems that UQ was unexpectedly high this year, my UMAT doesn't even come close to bonded.

I agree that UQ provisional med had a really high umat cutoff this year- I thought I had a chance at a BMP with 93 (184) but apparently not haha

Still super happy with dent though :)

Other Information: Deferred this offer via QTAC, but before that there was a message saying something like: Deferals are not automatically granted at this institution. Does anyone have any experience on attempting to defer BMedSci at Griffith, if so were you successful?

Assuming you’re referring to provisional entry med, we believe that any remaining spots will go to graduate entry students in 3 years time rather than UQ making second round offers, unfortunately. Last year there was a second round offer to a rural student but I’m inclined to think this was more due to UQ not filling their rural quota rather than them making offical second round offers.

Hey I'm in this predicament. I'm RA3, but I unfortunately did not get offered Doctor of Med at UQ. Instead, I was offered Biomed at UQ (my second preference). Should I conditionally accept this offer and hope that I receive Doctor of Med in second round offers? Or do you think that I'll just have to end up accepting biomed anyways?

They’ve definitely been possible in the past (without an explanation required). I’d get in touch with the school of medical science and ask them - they may have changed their policy recently.

I don’t think accepting your current offer will harm your chances at a future round, but I’d recommend calling UQ school of med ASAP and asking if they will be making any further offers to rural students.

Of the 7 offers we've had reported, 3 have indicated they won't be accepting. That said, there are also rumours that declined provisional med spots go to grad med applicants down the track, so I'm not sure how it goes waiting for UQ Med top ups, unfortunately. I don't think it's very common.

Yep I know a decent amount of people who got second round offers in previous years at JCU. However it is entirely dependent on the amount of people who reject their offers. Don’t put too much on it though, you would’ve had to have just missed out on 1st round offers to be next in line for 2nd round.

Hello all,

Quick question – just got accepted into Griffith GC Medicine (16th January). However, the QTAC website says:

"You must respond to QTAC within 5 days of offer (22th January) and enrol at Griffith to secure your place."

However, I am still hoping to receive an offer for UNSW Medicine (interviews on 18th January) which UAC offer rounds come out on 25th January (which is after the deadline to accept Griffith University).

Thus, if I were to accept Griffith University Medicine and enrol, would I still be able to withdraw it after 22nd January, if I were to receive an UNSW offer on the 25th January? Thanks.

Yes, as long as you withdraw prior to Griffith census date, that will be fine. Good luck with UNSW.

Okay, cheers for the info :)
