NZ Students Studying in Australia

Thank you, but for the med school application process in general would I need to show my level 2 NZQ results at any point.
If you had read the page you would have come across this paragraph:

"ATAR scores are based on the best 90 NCEA Level 3 assessed credits with a maximum of 24 credits from a subject. To determine which 90 credits are your best, assessed credits are given a weighting based on several factors."

That said, it is clearly apparent that Level 2 NCEA credits don't count.

I understand about the atar scores and had already had read the article before you sent it to me.I had heard about an early application process which apparently used your level 2 nzqa results for conditional entry, so I was a bit confused about that.

Hello, I am a graduate student from New Zealand thinking about applying to a dental school in Australia, but the whole system is very confusing - any chance someone could give me a really brief overview of how things work? I am literally starting from ground zero knowledge, if anyone has any helpful websites that compare all the schools that would be amazing :)))

Start with this table
> UPDATED Dentistry Schools Selection Criteria Y12s & Non-standards

Most of these are undergrad Dentistry available to school leavers, but they also accept uni/graduate applicants known as non-standard.

The schools denoted as Provisional are graduate entry that pre-offer a number of future places to school leavers once they complete an undergrad degree. In your case you can apply to them for graduate entry.

Hopefully that's enough for you to get a start. Ask more detail questions later although MSO is now quite lacking of Dentistry helpers.
