Oh btw, you guys shouldn't listen to SASOL when he says he had a bad first semester - he did only get 100% in HUBS191 as I remember.

Lol true I just mean about the others.

Whens physics?

Something to talk about, which you non-HSFYers might find interesting...

Tommorow we won't be having a CELS lecture like normal (live in St David's or otherwise) - instead, the CELS191 department are uploading a pre-recorded lecture onto blackboard for us to watch at any time.

Today there were no actual lectures either - they simply played a pre-recorded lecture in each theater. This was all planned, unlike earlier in the semester when Assoc. Prof. Waters was unable to deliver a lecture due to an emergency.

I'm not sure where the CELS department are going with these trials - we had to fill out some evaluation forms regarding the lecture structure, and while I'm not annoyed or disappointed, it's rather intriguing - perhaps they are considering upload all lectures to BB to prevent overcrowding/stream jumping?

edit: just downloaded the lecture, it's one hour twenty minutes long!

I doubt it; ~2000 people trying to download an hour long video from the Uni servers = server/blackboard crash.

That is, unless they've done some SERIOUS upgrades *drool*

Hope the physics test went well for all you HSFYers!

I've just looked over it... if anyone wants to know the answers let me know.

Wow GG. You actually did the test? That's dedication. Big Ups!

GG went through the whole test (bar a few calculations) less than an hour after it finished... probably disappointed a few people with lost marks heh.

Not really, it's only plussage, it was just a practice test for me. Time wasn't an issue for me yesterday, it was being unsure on the concept questions. I guessed one of the options in a calculation question and guess 2 concept questions lol. Woops :S

Unfortunately it only gets harder at the end of year :S

Aww what I want to see the test lol.

Whoah just looked at our assessment folder...56 students failed the Metabolism MCQ O_O I think that's the worst result our class has gotten on any of the MCQ tests throughout 2nd year and this year.
