The upside is that if you do well enough in these exams (i.e. get into med), you'll never have to do mid-year exams again... gotta love 100% end-of-year exam assessment.

[offtopic]I'm the opposite...I would prefer to actually have 2 semesters so that I didn't need to know stuff from the whole year for the final exam lol.[/offtopic]

Good luck for finals everyone! They'll crop up before you know it, trust me :)

Glee - Somebody to Love (Justin Bieber cover)
I'm gonna go out on a limb to say that was meant to be a reply to "Song you are listening to now..."
EDIT:

That was a pretty quick fix, lol[/offtopic]

CELS is out - provisionally.

Average is 14.6/20 (converted into percentages), but they wouldn't say anything about the distributions...

CELS results are up people.... [OFFTOPIC]95.5%, reasonably happy with that  [/OFFTOPIC]
EDIT: Just realised cathay pretty much already said that, making my post redundant lol

i got 17.7/20 not really happy with that. might make it a bit harder to get A+ overall in cels which is a worry. and i got schol bio and felt good coming out of that exam so im pretty disappointed. :l

I wonder how many people got 20 - I have personally heard of 3 already...
[offtopic]and for the record, I'm at 19.7[/offtopic]

I think I got a question wrong, 3/20..

[offtopic]Lol jk, 94.5%. :)[/offtopic]

Damn you Cathay, always beating me :P
Tbh I'm not surprised if there are some really high scores floating around, it was a fairly surface-skimming exam, which would've made it easier to not miss points in the written questions. Personally I know I screwed up an MCQ, so only lost half a mark in the written section. Which I'm fairly happy with :)

The 2nd terms test for HUBS looks interesting... (see: blackboard).

Oh good, some entertainment for the HUBS test, might actually take longer than 10 minutes this time

Exactly. I'd actually prefer it if they took it in and marked it for us (even if it was worth no marks), to give us an indication of where we stand (I find peer marking just doesn't work, people either mark like nazis, or too soft..)

You can also download model answers to the mini-essay from Blackboard after Thursday 26th May.

Might help.

Now... Time to find out what was in lecture 17.

Oh right, man I need to read things more thoroughly lol. Wasn't that the first nervous system lecture?
