Do we still do online registration as well?
Online registration is something we do after we receive the outcome of our application by 23 December. Since registration for returning students closes on 15 January, it is advisable to start planning a BSc or BBiomedSc degree beforehand, in case everything goes horribly wrong, but other than that, online registration is something we should leave alone for now, judging by the archived posts of past years.

I was the very first HSFY'er to submit my application in full, according to the lady at the office *feels proud* Or does that make me way too over-eager?

Well done, froot, you've out-health sci'd us...

Wow froot, that is seriously impressive.
So what are we actually supposed to do? I've done the thing online but what do we do with first aid stuff etc? and do we actually need to get birthcerts etc handed in?

There is a HSFY Checklist under med admission guidelines. Documents to Health Science Admissions Office.

Thanks :p
And you go to the 4th floor of the physio building with: Your signed declaration, a certified copy of your first aid certificate (you can get that done at the info desk in the central library building), and your serology stuff. Don't need birth certificates or anything, the uni already has those from when you applied for HSFY :)

HUBS Terms Test 1 result now on Blackboard.

whoa you've finished the maori essay!!!! thats pretty quick. how was it?
Quick? Depends if you call all day Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday 'quick' :p
It's not too bad, luckily the questions are fairly open-ended (especially the one I picked 'Discuss the nature of Maori and Pakeha relationships during the early contact period'), so the researching takes longer than the actual writing.
But I mostly just wanted to get it done before the holidays so that I can study for BIOC, rather than having a 2000ish word essay hanging over my head.

Maori kids seem to have it much harder than us eco people with all your essays and whatnot but I wonder, do they actually get marked as harshly as people say?

Everyone I've talked to seem to have got one.

Yay, HUBS, now to wait for epi...

[offtopic]24, forgot what air was for a question.[/offtopic]

Wait - the average for HUBS was 68.8%? o.O
