Don't worry, I've read more of MSO than that, and I'm still sane (or so I think).Oh dear. I just read through all 156 pages... I really am going insane...
Read every page of the archive, *then* you can join our insanity cornerOh dear. I just read through all 156 pages... I really am going insane...
(C'mon Cath, we're both insane. Who else has read the 'chives?
)I'm afraid I have to go all moderatey here and remind everyone that we're not allowed to buy/sell on the forums.Btw, I'm keen to buy textbooks off you guys for next year![]()

I recall doing that... But you might wish to know that later the NZ Forum Development Team went through and picked out the important & relevant points and stuck them into this thread.I admit I am weird and actually took all the main points and copied and pasted onto a word document so I wouldn't have to read through it all again![]()
I'm the type to obsess over the textbooks list since I'll feel paranoid if I don't get majority of them even though I've read through threads here saying that you only need a few of them.I went to none of the 'official' O-week stuff, it seemed a bit tame compared to bars and whatnot (although if you're <18 then bars and whatnot are out of the questionOh darn it! Ahaha, that's such a bummer but at least the events are still go-able.
And I know textbooks have been discussed before but what would you guys recommend? Buying next year from the UBS or getting them 2nd hand or a mixture of both??

D: Speaking of O Week non-freshmen/freshers don't actually pick on the us, right??

. There's a reason the parade got permanently cancelled. Still, some freshers still get made to suffer, particularly the ones at Knox. It's just part of the culture in Dunedin - it's actually really cool.
I bet it is cool after you've been there and done that hahahah xD And gosh, Castle St seems odious and mysterious now.
Love that feeling hahahah. Oh gosh, I just know this will make me want to buy all the textbooks on the list- which I won't but it'll be so tempting!!
