Can I please check if Notredame has removed the full fee paying pathway program to medicine through Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences Assured pathway at Sydney. There is no course coming up in UAC, only the CSP pathway to Medicine is coming up. I am sure I saw it before a few months ago but haven’t checked recently, perhaps removed now. Also there is no selection of bonded medical preference separately. Can anyone share their experience if you applied to Notredame. I did not see a separate forum for Notredame so posting here, sorry.

They are two separate cohorts so I think it's UAC for ND Sydney, TISC for ND Fremantle (unless UAC also accepts for ND Fremantle).

I have
1. UQ
2. UQ bonded
3. CQU
4. JCU or USQ
5. Griffith Dent
6. Engineering backup

JCU course is 6 years, USQ, UQ and CQU are 7 years long. CQU and USQ are both pathways for UQ rural medicine schools. At this point, it might just be tossing up where you'd rather live Darling region , Bundy, Cairns/ Townsville or Brisbane.

Given the option though, I would pick a 6 year course over a 7 any day. If you've got adjustment factors to 99.8 Atar, you can consider provisional entry to Griffith Nathan too.

Put both down in which ever order you would prefer if medicine is the course you are after.

Leave Engineering out for now.
You can swap this in at a later date once the interview offers are out. No interview no med offer.
Engineering can also be added in other rounds as a high Atar in the 99's will definitely get an offer.

Does Notre assured pathway guarantee entry to medical school after finishing 3 years biomed course? Or only top %of the students can enter med school? Thanks

Its something called the priority pathway yeah which is for the top achieving students in the biomed course at the end of the 3 years

Thanks! So it’s different to the provisional program such as UQ 3+4, or Grifth
2+4? It’s risky for applying for Norte then because you have to keep top marks in this 3 years otherwise you can’t get into med school.

It appears to me the assured pathway and the priority pathway (for ND's Biomed students) are two separate things.

The 3100 UCAT is quite below the cutoff from last year for interstate for UQ, CQU and USQ med

All 3 of those are highly unlikely, unless they're GWS then WSU is very likely to send an interview. If they want to remove one I'd probably remove JMP since the cutoff will most likely be 3230+ this year.

Unfortunately other than Griffith Dentistry, I don't see any other options other than maybe a slight chance for UNSW with EAS. Ideally you want at least one of your ATAR and UCAT to be near the very top to have better chances.

Adding onto what movpin said, of those universities I'd suggest JCU since iirc they no longer require the full written application and are a great option for someone with an ATAR that is 99+ (median last year for both campuses averaged to around 97.80) so it's worth a shot, albeit they do have a rural preference.
