Bit scared of my chances as everyone here is posting such high marks.
For context, I'm a first time test taker in Year 12.

VR: 760
DM: 690
QR: 730
AR: 640

Overall: 2820

SJT: 614

Quite disappointed as I was averaging around 3000 in mocks. My best sections are VR (usually 850+) and DM (800+). I think I flunked DM so badly because there was so many of the one question I wasn't great at. I'm happy with QR as it's one of my best scores. I knew AR was going to be bad because I couldn't pick up on the first few pattern sets and just guessed them.

I'm predicted a high ATAR (98.5+), but tbh I think my chances of getting into Med/Dentistry have gone down the drain.

Anyway, at least I can bring down the MSO average :)

Your VR is great, in fact a competitive mark if you are apart of GWS.

Pretty much guaranteed! That is a shocking improvement. May I ask what changed in terms of your preparation compared to last year?
Sure, I'd say the most important thing is doing ucat every day starting from half a year before the exam. Even if its only 5-10 minutes trust me it counts. Then the month before the exam do 1 mock every day. If you don't feel up to it do 4 mini mocks throughout the day. And skip SJ practice entirely, even in the mocks leave it unfinished, waste of time imo.

Sadly I am an interstate and non-rural applicant so my chances aren’t great. I just have to hope that I have a good ATAR to balance things out a bit.

no actually, this isnt quite the case! You are assuming the sample of students is the same throughout all of the mocks. The cohort in later mocks is more competitive. So the same score in mock 1 and mock 18 will generally translate to a higher %ile in mock 1 than in mock 18.
Also later mocks are less likely to have a proper bell curve due to a smaller sample size...
but shouldnt you be assessing the percentiles of ur exams rather than your score as ultimately percentiles determine how well youve done? For example if we take the mock 1 users as the 2019 cohort in which its the first time doing it, roughly a 90th percentile mark was 2830 and now if we take last years cohort as more competitive and practiced and relate that to mock 18 and if you happened to have an increased score of 2900 and you would be 89th percentile so whilst in a later period your score has increased your percentile has gone down.

25th July (Box Hill)

Going into this test I was hella nervous, done over 10k questions and 15+ mocks but I was unconfident with my VR and AR. I thought QR and DM would carry my score, especially QR seeing how I was getting 800+ consistently in that section.

Actual:
VR: 740 (Better than mock average)
DM: 750 (Slightly worse than mock average)
QR: 780 (Slightly worse than mock average)
AR: 860 (Much much better than I expected)
Total: 3130

In hindsight, I'm very happy with these results but at the time I was palpitating before the test due to the nerves. I felt terrible after the test because I thought I bombed it, but luckily I was wrong!! I kept a spreadsheet of my mock results if anyone is interested!

well done on the score mate! would definitely been keen to see the spreadsheet of your mock results if you are comfortable with posting that :)

yeah but you are confusing mock exams with the real ucat.

14000 people sat the ucat in 2019, and around 15000 in 2020 I think. Whilst in mock exam 1 its like almost 100% of the users (say 3000), and in mock 20 its probably 30% of the users (i.e. only 100) and generally these users are the most hard working and advanced users as they have gone to the effort to complete 20 mocks. So these percentiles are not exactly an accurate predictor of how you will do in the real thing...

So yeah you're right in saying focusing on your percentile rather than your score is a better indicator for how you performed in the real exam, but thats only because it represents the entire population you are competing against.

Year 13 doing 3 subjects.
Hi, which state is it that allows you this^ ?

BTW, an awesome score, pretty much guaranteed to get in!!!
That's a little over-optimistic :)

I'd say pretty much guaranteed only for interviews where UCAT is the main decider for interview selection (Adelaide, JMP, JPM, UQ...). For the combo schools like UNSW Monash it half depends on ATAR too. Not to mention the interview afterwards.

Was the computer at the Boxhill test centre laggy? I have found that it takes a few seconds for the next page to load on the official mocks

Test Centre: Parramatta (11/07/2021)

VR - 570
DM - 740
QR - 880
AR - 870

Total - 3060
WSU total : 681.6

SJT : 591 (We don't talk about this hehehe)

Overall, happy with my score, although I bombed VR VERY hard, I managed to offset it with QR and AR (might as well say goodbye to WSU hahaha). Honestly, general experiences at the centre were good, I had no issues getting there, and the staff were friendly! Really hoping to get an interview at JMP, UNSW, Monash and UAdel (Considering I am EAS eligible for the last 3). It would be amazing to land an interview at WSU, although looking at the VR *cough* eventhough I qualify for GWS. I guess we wait for percentiles to dictate now ....
was 681.6 accepted last year for WSU? Im asking out of curiosity no rudeness intended

Have you checked the collated offer data thread for 2021 entry?
LMG! beat me to it LOL

Hey, do u think year 13 is worth it? (I know u haven't finished yet but like ur experience so far).
Also I'm from SA and I might do year 13 as well lol so do u have any thoughts on which schools year 13 might be good for? (Thebarton/marden??)
I suggest you give the following a read.

Like 2xq and LMG! have said, if you look at last years MSO data, the minimum for GWS was 697, I guess, you could say that there may be lower invites also handed out (since not everyone is also on MSO), but I can say that a significant proportion are.

Tested: 2/8

VR: 630
DM: 740
QR: 880
AR: 890
Total: 3140

SJ: 664

Thoughts: vr was pre much my best and sj my worst in the mocks ive done on xx. somehow it all flipped haha. just waiting on percentiles now and stressing to make UQ dent's tiny 23 places
