Also, btw. I remember seeing on the r/UCAT reddit that someone was also posting a similar score AGES ago (beginning July) and whining about how bad they did with a massive downvote ratio. I don't have the exact score nor post/comment to verify but it is very SUS. I'm sure their comment is since then has been deleted but if I did find it, it would be good counterargument against this person since they can't have done the test 'recently'.

We’ll leave the post up because everyone’s called it out for being incorrect but yeah, one of the limitations of online forums is they rely on peoples honesty

(PS Wesley how you been man, did you go to Parra this time? or does this test centre still leak their questions to WeChat groups)

Assuming it is a troll, should we consider this as a true score and count it in our averages or should we disregard it?

Interestingly this user has 10 earlier posts (7 last year, 3 this year) and all seem decent & honest.

They also have a post telling what their UCAT %ile last year was which has been edited out (I can see what it was through mod's privileges but won't tell haha).

Hmm. So does that mean that they are legit or trolling...

General thoughts on your results: considering how little prep I did this year, I’m super stoked with my score. I prepped really hard last year and didn’t do *that* much better. Disappointed with my VR though as I’m keen on WSU. And SJT was terrible but oh well haha
General comments on your experience:
Staff were great and everything was super well organised. Got there early and had plenty of time to relax.

Thank you! And yeah 100% I was non standard last year too and got interviews everywhere I applied but messed them all up and didn’t get a single offer. So here’s hoping I’ll get another shot this year and I’ll definitely be better prepared!

no interview + no UCAT

although in 2020 you needed 99.75 iirc

I can’t even describe how bad mine were. I didn’t really practice/prep at all and interview settings have always made me very anxious so I stumbled on my words and couldn’t even get coherent answers out. My plan this year is to practice answering questions out loud with time constraints and then using the forum on here to get advice on whether my responses will score well!

General thoughts on your results: did much less prep this year compared to last, but was pleasantly surprised with the improvement! I did find the DM so difficult; there were so many of the same type of question which threw me off a bit. Other than that, my scores reflected pretty well the averages I was scoring in my practice runs.

I'm a non-standard applicant, and currently studying a very different degree to medicine (Commerce/Law) and I love it at the moment. That definitely contributed to my casual attitude about the UCAT this year, and hence my feeling quite relaxed before the test. I did reapply to sit the UCAT early this year due to my major disappointment of not receiving an offer the last year, so I guess right now I'm feeling a little bit conflicted.
