Hi all! Sat my test ages ago and finally decided to post. As a non-standard applicant, my fingers are crossed I can get a JPM and/or JMP interview!

Date completed: 8th July
Venue: Rydges Newcastle

Scores: (last years in brackets)
VR: 760 (680)
DM: 740 (770)
QR: 760 (880)
AR: 800 (660)
Overall: 3060 (2990)
SJT: 677 (637)

Hi everyone! I did my UCAT today and thought I'd share for the statistics. I'm a little disappointed with my score, especially seeing the insane results here, but I'll just wait until the stats are released and cross my fingers.

Date completed: 25th August
Venue: Queensford College, Brisbane

Scores:
VR: 670
DM: 700
QR: 870
AR: 740
Overall: 2980
SJT: 689

Date completed: 25th August
Venue:
Pearson Professional Centre, Sydney

Scores: (last years in brackets)
VR: 670 (600)
DM: 770 (750)
QR: 900 (800)
AR: 870 (770)
Overall: 3210 (2920)
SJT: 637 (560)

General thoughts on your results: Considering I spend around half a year preparing, I was expecting a higher result that last year, but honestly, not this much higher. VR and DM were kinda expected, but with QR, I probably was expecting 850 (so 900 was a pleasant surprise) and with AR, I (content deleted). I'm quite confident that this will translate to a 97+ percentile, but given all the high scores I have read on the forum, it might change a bit. The one question I did have was whether my scores would be enough for WSU. Knowing they do weigh VR heavily compared to the other sections, and my VR score wasn't the best, I'm hoping that my results in the other sections do cancel out the VR result, (content deleted). Overall, I'm definitely very happy with my score, given that it was towards the top of all the mock exams I did.

General comments on your experience: The centre was extremely desolate, to say the least. When I entered, I was the only person in the waiting area, with only 2 people in the middle of their exam. I was able to get my exam done early, as the receptionist kindly allowed me to. The staff were extremely friendly and very hospitable. I didn't have any concerns or problems with the actual experience. And just wanted to say good luck for everyone who is still to do their exam. :)

DM: 770 (720)

SJT: 673 (680)
Yay! another auckland buddy
How is lockdown........

I suspect Pearson must be feeling compassionate towards Covid-delayed applicants they tweak the tests to make them a little easier. All this week's scores have been 3000 or more haha.

Congratulations to you all
Hopefully that’s the case for me, albeit a little unlikely. I keep getting rescheduled so much and UCAT ANZ has terrible communication with Pearson VUE and candidates. This is just the worst :(

I did my test today. Horrible. Rip.
Just wondering what percentile variances there are between years? It seems like the same score over multiple years is getting a lower and lower percentile, so would it continue into this year?
Me too. I just did my test today. I was averaging around the 2.9k-3k range. I got 2820. (Content removed)

Just a reminder to all that “what are my chances of interview/offer” questions are off topic for this thread. A dedicated thread will open if/when percentiles have been released and a reliable calculator has been created. Please be patient until then.

I certainly wouldn't lose hope man. Like you, I'm a little unsure of where my score might place me but I think it's important to remember (1) we really cannot know until the percentiles are released, (2) the scores posted on MSO are most likely not representative of the population as a whole and 2820 is actually an insane score, and (3) I think our priority now should be focussing on maximizing our ATARs. Best of luck moving forward!

Adding on to points Veisn made, the great thing about medicine in Australia is that there are so many ways of entry. So if UCAT didn't go to plan as you would have liked, you still have your ATAR which can more than make up for it. As an applicant who, last year, didn't get a score I was hoping for, I was also initially feeling a bit down, but then I quickly realised that UCAT isn't the only pathway into medicine. I'm confident you will be able to make it up with your ATAR, and hopefully, things go to plan for you in the future. Best of luck for your medicine application :)

hey, my computer froze during my UCAT and it caused the supervisors to shut down/reboot the computer system. i emailed Pearson and they said that after investigation, it took away a total of 85 seconds from my exam. they said to email UCAT to proceed further but are there any ideas to what will happen? Would it just be noted that I had tech issues?

Had the exact same thing, I lost a very similar amount of time. Nothing will happen - my "investigation" has been completed, doesn't qualify for a re-sit, they'll just make an annotation that you experienced tech difficulties.

Tbh. I think lockdown has extended testing so much and Pearson just wants to get it all done. I highly doubt you’d get a second chance but it’s something you’ll have to actively wrestle with Pearson for, if you’re that desperate.
