For kindergarten and school teacher one did u put:
- he wanted to make her feel guilty (or was the word ‘punish’ instead of ‘guilty’?)
- teacher felt foolish

Btw there’s only like 6 people agreeing here. There’s like 20000 more ppl and a lot of people who had to blind guess and so on

For those who repeated UMAT did you see less depressed faces this year than last year or was everyone depressed this year?
My third umat

Mostly relieved people and some people just laughing at how bad they messed up. No shaking for 20 mins after the exam like the guy in front of me last year

If we are all getting the same answers does this mean that the exam will be scaled harsher?

It's thought that the more people that get a question correct leads to a lower weighing of the question. Whereas, if only a few people get a question right, then that question is seen as harder and is marked with a higher score by ACER.

No one really knows though!

i felt really bad coming out since I had a couple questions left, looking back on I seem to have done pretty good so only time will tell now :P

I got the guilty part, the second question I kinda stuffed it but I think foolish would be somewhat accurate
Yeah I reckon she would feel foolish because when the kid put her mistake in her face by saying

oh so you give me the apple juice just because I look sad?

That would make her feel foolish since such a young person could trick her

And also how she scrambles to justify why she gave it to him

same. don't remember if i chose guilty tho.

gotta commend everyone for remembering a lot of questions and answers.

I honestly forgot for a while that I'd skipped a bunch of section 1 questions lol

I emailed umat peeps about the Sydney pm disturbance and this is what they replied:
Thank you for your email. We are awaiting reports from the test centres and have taken note of your correspondence.

Last year I spent 50 minutes on S2 and got an average score, this year I did it in 35 minutes and was much more confident than last year. Passages were easier and less ambiguous answers.

Wonder how they will mend it.
Scale the scores?

section 2 this year was definitely more accessible (wider range of scenarios and less ambiguity), last year had a few ambiguous cartoons and was just overall uncertain
