Just remember there’s another 20000 students outside of this thread so don’t begin to think this was a cakewalk for everyone.

give us half price voucher for next year’s umat

Can you imagine LOL
‘We know you didn’t preform as well due to the disturbance. However, heres a voucher so you can try again next time’

Yea I said comaraderie as well bc she was making connections with the procedures he was taking. She didn’t really speak negatively of her doctor tho which is why I didn’t pick dissonance

Camaraderie means “mutual trust and friendship”. There was no feeling of friendship or trust portrayed in the passage, so I think this option was incorrect.

Dissonance means “lack of harmony”. Despite her doctor saying hello, she didn’t acknowledge that both of them were running late, and she felt violated by the doctor. Therefore, dissonance seems apt.

I agree with Jiaxing on the dissonance in this passage. The patient seemed quite detached and the procedure left her feeling violated to some extent.

I emailed umat peeps about the Sydney pm disturbance and this is what they replied:
Thank you for your email. We are awaiting reports from the test centres and have taken note of your correspondence.

I hope ACER will give the Sydney PM attendees the rights to sit the defer test, using the same test books ;)

lol, maybe different test books?
I highly doubt they will arrange a resit lol.
Something along the lines of ‘we found the mean performance at this sitting to be not much unlike that of centres around Australia and New Zealand. Thus, get rekt noobs and start preparing for the GAMSAT.
>Insert GAMSAT registration link here<

They can easily do that. Statistically the PM session's mean score should be very close to the AM's, if it's inexplicably lower they can scale up accordingly to compensate.
Definitely seems like the most appropriate response. I wonder if the mean score for PM is truly any different to AM. What if it’s higher? Scale them down as Kendrick Lamar some how helped them beast the UMAT?

we need a respite

I highly doubt there would be a resit of the exam. In ACER's position it would be possible to just simply check the performance of the PM cohort in Sydney compared to everyone else's performance, then scale that particular cohort to match the same distribution as the other cohorts.
