Do you think they’ll come out around the 5th of September like last year?

Well before the website used to read that results come out “end of September” but it never was THE END I.e. September 30, it was usually around the 20th which is more mid September

I think they have a conservative estimate so that the results definitely come out before the time they say

Since it now says mid September I’d think they should come out same time (around 5 September)

Also I have bad news... August has 31 days not 30 days

Good observation, I don't know what the disparity is, the ACER Facebook page said last year that results were coming out in late september. So I'd take it with a grain of salt.

The second digit of the result release date is decreasing by 1. So from
18 —> 17 —> 16 —> 05 —> 14 or 04

I saw results discussion and my heart dropped thinking results were out (they aren’t btw)

Anyone wanna have a guess at why Acer takes a million years to run the tests through a computer and set value of marks to each question probably through item response theory?

Actually I know why it takes so long to release results

All tests are marked in 5 days. The delay is because ACER is very stubborn and likes their old way of manually entering email addresses of applicants to inform them of result release. They hire one person to manually enter the emails and this takes about 40 days.

OMG sorry! I didn’t even think about that! I know I’d have had the same stomach-drop in your position! If it makes you feel any better, I made that post 2 weeks before expected results release last year, and about 4 days later they dropped so... who knows

One (small?) part of the delay is that there is another test date for people who were sick on the day or had other unavoidable commitments. I think it's 2-3 weeks after the first sitting.
