Tbh I was going good with the wait for results but now I’m beginning to lose some composure.

I’d be lying if I said I haven’t logged into the Acer website a few times a day to see if by some miracle the results are up aaaaaaaaaaa

Good to know I'm not the only one. Honestly next week is going to drain it!! Makes it scarier that only 10-15% may be happy with their mark and are probably the ones who stand the most chance. The rest of the 85-90% gotta just deal with it

I was waiting for someone to bring this up so I could post without sounding insane. One of the questions in the building site gave me so much grief because none of the options were working out for me. It also took me a while to work out what was going on with those dials and lights and I hope I did not misinterpret that and get the entire stem wrong.

I know this is super late to discuss questions but random exam qs keep popping into my head these days cos results approaching. Just to keep my sanity about a certain one, anyone remember the one bout the dad and son little ball league where he says “you’ll be the best pitcher in the league” dude you guy say you he was trying to to pressure son to join or speaking his own expectations? I’m probably the only person who still remembers random shit like This lmaooo

iirc, I also put the option that he was speaking his own expectations, he was reminiscent of his lack of opportunities when it came to baseball and imposed those desires on his son.

I definitely agree, that building question was absolutely disgusting. I feel like the s1 questions towards the end became more difficult imo (or maybe i was just stressed, running out of time and dehydrated (dont forget your water bottle in your parents car kids) )

Back in my day you could predict your UMAT score by using your predicted ATAR and whether you got a UNSW interview or not. Basically since UNSW published their cutoffs for each ATAR bracket (you can see these in A1's table) you could tell your score was above the cutoff if you had an interview and vice versa.

I feel that many of us are agreeing with lots of S2 questions. Therefore, is it possible that this section be scaled quite strictly?

It most likely means we are all the top 10%.


But in seriousness, if the section is too easy then it will be those few ambiguous questions that will set people apart.

My Son has decided he is not checking his UMAT score until his JCU application is done and all his year 12 assessments are finished for the term, as he doesn't want the results to affect his state of mind doing these vital things. Hopefully he succeeds with sticking to his decision.

I wish I had this kind of willpower lol, because I know that getting disappointed with the UMAT will affect my motivation for the rest of year 12.
