Definitely worth a shot at Curtin, though I don't think they have all that many spots on offer for graduates. Unfortunately probably not for UWS, despite your GWS status. And CSU is unlikely too. 7.00 GPA should be good for Griffith Dent, I think? Yamster?

ETA: Also, are you planning to apply to JCU (Med and Dent) or JMP? You may grab a JMP interview, and JCU will depend on your written application. And UAdel Dent went down to 83rd%ile UMAT last year so you could also try there?

I wouldn't rule out WSU due to SJT yet. With some luck your 88%ile may be just enough for GWS and JMP.

Non-standard can apply to UQ and Adelaide Dent but I'm not sure if your 5.7 GPA will be eligible.

Your chance for a UNSW offer is like 80-90%, just don't blow the interview.

UAdel interviewed down to ~89th%ile UMAT last year, so maybe? Being Victorian will help you out at Monash, though it may depend how much +99 your ATAR ends up. UTAS is impossible to predict. JMP would be worth an application. And Curtin and UWA. UNSW would again depend on how much +99. Flinders and Griffith would also depend on your ATAR.

We don't have much Curtin data, but I'd hope you'll get interviews to both UWA and Curtin. Monash is unlikely. UQ is unlikely for Med, not sure about Dent. UAdel interviews needed ~89th%ile last year, so you might miss out there for Med, but maybe for Dent? Other possibilities: Griffith provisional Med, UTAS direct entry Med (a big unknown).

USYD does offer double-degree dent for school leavers (similar to medicine, with 3 years science, then dentistry postgrad)

I’ve contacted UAC and all the schools, they said they’ll take the higher of the two. SAT completed in November 2018, IB completed May 2019.

Yes you can resit UCAT next year and re-apply to the three NSW med schools as a non-standard.
(You should aim to get GPA 6.5+ for your uni year if you want to maintain a good chance for UNSW. 6.4 or less will drag down your ATAR equivalent for UNSW severely)

So the correct interpretation of these percentage answer is that if you chance is x%, then you need to be in the x%ile of the interviews roughly to get an offer?

If you chance is x% then you need to be in the TOP x%ile of the interviews.

Are these percentages you are saying on a more conservative note?

I try to be neutral with these estimates, using UNSW as the benchmark. We know from last year 99.2+92%ile just scraped an interview (thus 10-20% chance) and 99.9+99%ile is at the top of the tree (80-90% chance), and interpolate in between. It's important to note this pair of scores is then combined with the interview score - each playing a part of - for place-offer ranking, so the % chance is approximately the top %ile interview score you need.

For Adelaide I deduct 20 off UNSW numbers due to its huge interview/place ratio. For Monash I adjust a little up or down for local or interstate. For UWA/Curtin I just grab a reasonable number. As I have said repeatedly there's no science in it, just a bit of fun to entertain.

Sorry, giving my estimate for offer chances implies you will (almost) definitely get an interview there.
The only school in doubt is Monash due to your ATAR estimate of 98.9 to 99.4 - too wide a range to predict.

Just wondering, If i was to get a 99.1/99.2 atar and the 96% UCAT, what would my chance at a UNSW offer be.
Also, when you say 10%,20% chance, does this mean that i have to be in the top 10/20 out of the 100ish people that get selected out of the pool of 400 students. OR, does this mean i have to be in the top 40/80 of 400 interviewees.

The range you've quoted for your ATAR makes it very difficult to say, unfortunately. Starting with NSW unis, you may get an interview at JMP, it's a bit of an unknown this year based on UCAT, but that is the only option, really, for Med or Dent. In Qld, your best bet is JCU Med and Dent (or Bond Med if that is financially viable). In Victoria, I'm actually not sure how the Monash Guarantee works for interstate applications. We do have a thread specific to that if you have more questions. And you could try LaTrobe Dent there, too. You're unlikely to be eligible for anything in SA, though you could try for Dent, perhaps. UWA and Curtin might be worth an application. All of the above is largely based on you getting 99+ ATAR.

If it ends up closer to 97, then maybe JMP, otherwise non-standard and grad entry med as you work your way through a back up degree.

You're likely to get interviews to all three. With a slightly below average interview, you may scrape a UNSW offer, but you'd be no chance at JMP or WSU.
