Specific Question:
(any chance of JMP interview??? i know my ucat is low but I think interview score, if I got one, would be high)

JMP used to have a very specific way of using UMAT that eliminated a number of high scores from even being eligible for interview. That's not the case this year with UCAT, so it's virtually impossible to say when people have 'borderline' UCAT results, I'm afraid. Your GPA is totally fine, so it will just come down to whether your UCAT is competitive. Good luck!

You will hopefully get a JMP interview. Probably not for WSU and definitely not for UNSW.
You will get a Bond psychometric test invite.
JCU is impossible to predict given the emphasis on rural background and written application.
If your degree is completed, you could try a Curtin application.
I'll leave the Dent chances to Yamster

Unfortunately, if last year's percentile ranks are anything to go by, then probably not.
Griffith could be an option depending on your academic rank.
Probably not for CSU (based on UCAT)
LaTrobe Dent could be an option, as could UAdel Dent.

Applying for: Medicine
Application Type: School Leaver

Question:
1. What are my chances of getting an Interview (no need to consider % of offer) in WSU, JMP and UNSW (this uni in particular)?

You should get interviews with JMP & WSU based on 95/96th %ile.
That with 99.0 is borderline for UNSW, just have to wait & see.

Specific Question:

- It would be a huge help if you could list the universities that have a higher chance of offering me a place.
- Does Monash really give an advantage to victorians?

You should get a Monash interview. Borderline for JMP Adelaide Curtin. Likely too low for UNSW & WSU.
UWA is possible if you get 99.0+
I can't think of another school that will give you a higher chance than Monash & JMP (25%).

Monash does give an advantage to Vic students. If you were interstate it'd be a straight out No for Monash.

What are my chances of securing a UNSW interview?

Sorry, I also have two really specific (and possibly dumb) questions about USyd.
1. Is there any indication of how low USyd lowers their ATAR threshold for their E12 scheme? On their website it says the E12 ATAR required was 99.50, but will competition for E12 places drive the required ATAR up?
2. Is there any benefit to satisfying both eligibility requirements for the E12 scheme (EAS and residing in a low SES area) instead of just one?

Specific Question: In which universities will i be able to get an interview? What is the chance of me getting an offer in UWA/curtin, and thank you in advance.
You should get interviews at all who offer them, except maybe Monash which is more of an unknown for interstate applicants. I'm not sure how many people UWA and Curtin interview to be able to provide info on offer chances. A1 may be able to provide more info.

Added by A1 : It's difficult to estimate chances for UWA & Curtin since we don't have a lot of WA data to work with. I'd say around 50-60% for both.
Just though I'd chime in and say that a friend of mine (SA) got an interview offer for Monash with 99.4+96th. And since 99.45+97th is marginally higher in both respects, an interview seems pretty likely tbh - this is provided that things don't change drastically this year of course (Monash used to have 50/50/50 rule and now it doesn't so maybe more potential applicants?) - fingers crossed!

Unless you *totally* fail the interview almost 100% offer chance for Monash (they want to grab you before you decide to go UoM).

You are 100% guaranteed of a UNSW interview, with about 70% chance of a place offer.
I don't think anyone here knows about USyd's E12 scheme to help answer.

Question: chances of interview/offer

Since the UES bonus only applies for Adelaide & Flinders you only have a chance there plus the ATAR-hurdle schools WSU & JMP.
If you get the EAS bonus for UNSW it might give a chance.

You are probably a little below the borderline for WSU. It's more promising for Adelaide & JMP interviews.

With Flinders, can you push your ATAR a touch higher to get boosted to 99.85-.90? Then Flinders is very possible.

Thank you! Can I still accept a UoM Chancellors Scholarship and then reject it later for a Monash Med place?

If this is a scholarship not a place in the Chancellor's program I'm sure you can accept now and turn down later if you no longer want it.

I'd think you'll get interviews at JMP and WSU. You will possibly also get a UNSW interview, but I'd think you'll need a pretty top interview to be competitive. You should also get CSU and LaTrobe interviews (assuming they both interview), but will possibly be borderline for Griffith Dent, Yamster can confirm. I'm not sure for UQ, again, Yamster will know more.

Added by A1: I was writing this just when LMG! posted:
"Your 6.75 should convert to 99.5 then combine with 98.65 to equiv Rank 99.1. That with 96%ile should get you a UNSW interview but on the low end, you will need a pretty high interview score to get an offer."
