Im not sure if this helps, but my campus was quite clearly stated in the "notes" of my offer on UAC website as well as the emails I got from both UAC and UNSW... I'm not sure if you're experiencing some sort of glitch?? But like another user said, call the Uni when you can and let us know 🙂🙂 Good luck, and congrats!!

when would one be taking the general education courses, because one of the requirements for going in the honours stream is to have done the 12 units.

You do gen ed courses in 4th year. That's only if you do the IPL instead of honors.

From memory, unfortunately you have to have an ATAR of 96.00 to ever be eligible for UNSW Med (regardless of your GPA) the way their current policy stands (this has been in place for the last 2 admission cycles - it may change again but there’s no saying if/when).
Hi LMG!,

Just confused the selection process of UNSW. I know two students: one is from RRMA3 with ATAR 99.1 and UCAT 70s percentile and another is from RRMA 5 with ATAR 99.6 and UCAT 93 percentile. Both are rural applicants and felt they did good interview. Guess what? Only the person with 99.1 and 70s percentile got UNSW offer. How does UNSW calculate the final score based on UCAT, ATAR and interview? But this result does give the hope to future students

Offers for entrance is based on ATAR, UCAT and Interview - however UNSW has not released the weightings of each component to the public.

Unfortunately feeling you did a good interview isn’t enough to guarantee that you actually did do a good enough interview. When there’s a part of the admission criteria that involves an interview it’s always impossible to predict.

Sorry I can't find a discussion about UNSW Scholarships so I'll post my question here:

I have successfully obtained 3 scholarships. UNSW Medicine Equity Scholarship, UNSW Gateway Equity Award and the Academic Achievement Awards (AAA). Is it possible to hold all three scholarships at once?

Also, does anyone know from experience if such scholarships count as income for youth allowance. I'm seeing conflicting information online.

Hey guys,
I'm a non-standard who received an unexpected offer today for the Wagga Wagga campus - so I really don't know much about UNSW tbh.
Sorry if these things have already been asked- tried to read through the forums a bit.

Has anyone heard of someone's offer upgrading to a higher-preferred campus as people decline offers? I know people sometimes go from BMP -> CSP so just wondered if the same thing happened with campuses.

Also do we know whether this year is online- I'm interstate so wondering if I have to move for this year or not?

Thanks!

Hey there, congrats on your offer!!!

Unsure about the first part of your question but WRT online learning, I think they're planning to transition back to face to face learning.

Re. campus upgrades, generally no, this doesn't happen. In fact, in the ~6 years I've been here at MSO I've never seen it reported and some unis (ie. JMP) make it very explicit that campus changes won't be facilitated. I don't know if UNSW have a statement about it anywhere, but I've certainly never seen it happen.

Congrats on your offer!

I know there's BARELY any topup offers for Feb 10th but should I call UNSW to ask if I'm on the waiting list (if there's one at all) or do they not tell you? I want to know if my interview was ok or if it failed me so that I can try to improve on my interview skills 😅. Good job to everyone who got in 👏

Hi! Just wondering if anyone here is going to the Kensington campus? If so have you got any of the equipment yet e.g. stethoscope?
