How many spots do they have? also, would a 99.6 be considered as a mid to high 99 and yes I know, first year they are doing this but can anyone suggest whether this is sufficient??? Thanks in advance![]()
There are 100 domestic spots on offer. UTAS aim for 50 of those to be rural and 2 (minimum) to be indigenous. Which leaves ~48 for non-rural/non-indigenous. There have been rumours previously that at least 70 are for Tas locals, but this would include a large portion of the rural applicants so, if it’s true, it’s difficult to say how many of the 48 spots will eventually be filled by interstate applicants.
Tbh, in my year, I’d guess there’s single digits.
