JPM WSU/CSU JPM: Questions and Discussion

No. They’ve been recalled and delayed, give it until everyone starts to get one before you accept defeat

iirc wsu sent a rejection email to me last year about the time everyone was getting invited

There is literally zero point speculating about this and it is absolutely not 'safe' to assume anything.

ETA: In fact, I think I'm gonna discourage further posts on the topic that aren't adding new information to the situation, as I know from experience it will just build an unnecessary panic when people have far more important things to be concentrating on.

Nah, it's all good, and a pretty understandable reaction, tbh, it's just not going to help anyone if this thread becomes pages of panic (which we have seen happen very rapidly in the past). I was just trying to head that second stage off :D
 
Hey guys I received this email from Admissions regarding interview invitations:

“The invite for interviews for the Doctor of Medicine (joint program) are expected to go out later next week (Interviews Scheduled for November). In regards to the interviews scheduled for January for VIC, QLD, SA, WA and NZ Citizens, it is expected that invites will be advised late December - early January”

so it seems that interstate applicants scheduled for January will be sent invitations in late December early January.
can anyone confirm this?

Did you ask about admissions or did they send it to you out of nowhere?

alright just thought i'd post this so no one freaks out like me... basically I called WSU because a number of people with lower UCATs and VR were getting CSU interview INVITES, and they (WSU) confirmed that because CSU interviews earlier they released their invites earlier if you preferenced CSU. WSU will be releasing interview INVITES sometime next week.

(mod note: "offers" edited to INVITES for emphasis and to prevent confusion)

So if I had a low UCAT and VR and didn't get an interview offer today then I would assume I didn't make their interview invite cutoff then?

Additionally, I have only seen INTERVIEW INVITES for rural students. Unless someone can confirm that they received an email from CSU and aren't classified as being part of the rural cohort?

^^ just for clarification I'm rural also, and the people I've spoken to who have gotten CSU INTERVIEW INVITES are rural
