No news for me. All I know is that I have an interview (got that info from calling) but still no offer with a time. Grads must be thur & friday because there are a few of us on friday now.......unbelieveable really that the offers are this late.......
 
I GOT AN INTERVIEW!!! For Fri afternoon. Just got an email from tanya

yusss I knew i was borderline. for the record i have no idea what my gpa is as I didn't check my marks hahaha. :P

Congratulations. How can you have no idea about your GPA???? That's very funny!!!

Mine is at 9.30am (FTR).

Mine is at 2pm. Those emails must have gone out in the wee hours....feel so bad for the admissions office people - they must be have been working flat out through the night poor things :(

GOOD LUCK to everyone with interviews today and tomorrow (and Monday - if any?)!!!!!

Yeah mines at like 4! Well I haven't checked last semesters marks as I was too scared hehe.. maybe I should check now??? I don't really care about auckland.. i'm more hopeful for otago!!! Good luck guys!!! *shakes with excitement*
 
Not scary, but it wasn't like what others got in terms of just a nice flowing conversation. It was fairly serious, with questions regarding health, maori health, ethical situations, MH03 and there were scenarios where they acted out things and I had to respond. Maybe the grad interviews are different to undergrads!
 
i'm an undergrad and my interview was more like what you said and less like a convo

They also asked me alot of serious questions about health, maori health, and stuff from MH03.

Probably just down to the individual interviewers, though I suspect they expect more maturity and life experiences from the grads.

In my friend's undergard interview they really grilled her about all that kinda stuff as well but have also heard that some people have had really cruisy ones. Must depend on who you get on the day? Thanks for sharing bout your interview one-soul...good luck and I'm sure you did awesome! :)

That's awesome!

I'm just wishing now that I didn't screw up my interview too badly. I was so sure before that it went well and now I'm like " I hope I get in DESPITE my interview!"

Good luck for everyone who's interviews are coming up. Can't wait til the 23rd!

Ahahaha :lol: It would be, but sadly you're going to have to experience the torment that we all went thru lol. For what it's worth, more or less all of the MSO biomeds last year got in, so heres to hoping history repeats itself (yy)
 
Interview done.

It went well. Got some encouraging feedback from the interviewers. Now I'm home I keep thinking of better answers that alluded me at the time but I guess that's the nature of the beast.

Good luck with the waiting everyone.

FWIW - I saw the morning interview schedule today and noticed it was almost all ROMPE students with a few postgrads thrown in for good measure.
