Does anyone know when we should expect our results to come out?

If i remember correctly, Angela Tsai said the medsci142 examiners meeting would be on the 16th, so results for medsci would be released a few days after that and I think that medsci will probably be the last result we get (it seems like it would take a long time to mark and decide on grade boundaries etc especially with so many people). I reckon 106 is just around the corner though, because in semester 1 we got 2 of our results back before the exam period even finished!

Last year, they came out on the 23rd Nov and the year before, the 22nd, so I suspect around the same, maybe a little earlier this year.

and I think the grade boundaries are fixed as stated in the course guide...or unless you mean moderation of the paper

Well we should all be done by now! Enjoy your holidays everyone! Let us know how you got on in the exams/interviews.

Remember life doesn't stop after OLY1, I've been tempted by quite a few things as I progress through my degree. You might find a path that excites you even more than medicine :)

When do they normally send out interview invitations - late November I assume once all the exam marks are out for the OLY1ers?

Yes. Possibly early December with interviews a little later on. Often it's very short notice so don't make strict plans for the first two-three weeks of December.

Results by Christmas :)

I thought interviews start 7th of December and you don't hear back until Jan? Will we know in December already?

Interviews are 7th-12th of Dec I think. Invitations for interviews will be received anywhere from a week to a day before your interview (I got my invite 5 days before my interview). Your med application will change from pending to either accepted or declined on SSO on the 23rd of December (if this hasn't changed in the last 2 years).

Answered above obviously but I'd definitely keep the first few weeks of December open because they won't be flexible for you if their deadlines change abruptly.

Browse through some of the interview threads on the site incase you are called for an interview on very short notice and don't have time to prepare. Knowing a bit about our health system and what's going on at the moment could come in handy too :)

Interviews vary in nature however so I won't guarantee that you'll use that info. Good to drop in though.

Hey just curious , can the people who are waitlisted later in december get their interview mark back?

Ask if you don't eventually get in. You don't really need to know otherwise?

I do think they'll let you know if you are waiting though. We've had people be accepted within a few weeks of semester starting so its a bit much to make someone wait that long without knowing where they stand :P

In any case you can get an indication of your score judging by your place on the wait list.
