Yea memorising was basically the way to go. There wont be much to to learn in the first module, but for modules 2-4 I even memorised the slide headings (surprisingly useful)

haha..i must say that is kinda uplifting..ure the first ppl ive heard of who got A+'s in POPL HLTH...btw..what % of the class last year got an A+?

o yea..one more thing..are all the slides from the lecture available on CECIL after?..coz from wut ive heard..the lecturers only put up a "key summary"..which frankly..is no good when it comes to revision..

That really depends on the lecturer. Some don't put them up, but others put what is nearly everything you need to know up. Obviously they will include some extra things in their lectures which may appear in the exam lol.

I had a look up on CECIL and it appears that the lecturers hv put everything up from today...

How do supervisors allocate marks for the practical sessions?

Lol you went to pophlth today too? It was scary how FPAA filled up till the very last seat, never happened once last year. Dennis was also wearing the same shirt from last year

Haha yeah, i forgot how scarily ridiculous it is on the first day. I'm so glad we never have to do that again...it made me feel like throwing up.

so you guys are saying this years cohort is way larger than last years  OMG there a so many people in lectures, esp pophlth

lol~ ppl are so anal to get into pophlth lec room at the start of the year! 'Oh no~ i have to seat at the very front...!!' But as the year goes on...ppl just become meh~~ especially when Dan Exter comes along! lol

I remember when one of the Maori lec was cancelled and Dan came to fill in and half of the lec room got up and left! lol lol

rofl! when does this guy start coming in?

It was much worse when 107 was in the library basement, i can remember how people used to walk/run from chem to the library. lucky for the biomeds this year that they moved it to FPAA
