That's absolutely shocking, the whole process has been really woefulgot an email from csu that I had been rejected for an interview offer 1 hr ago, but I had my interview at csu dentistry 1 week ago? Does this make any sense? I mean i understood that me getting an interview for csu dent didnt make sense at all since my ucat was too low, but is this like appropriate for them to send this email after me going through the interview process? I just find this prospect amusing ha ha
was it an email for the rejection regarding the interview, or just a place in general? since my rejection was on the interview itself, not the outcome of landing a place, implying that i never actually should of gotten an interviewUPDATE: just received my rejection letter for CSU as well![]()

I got one as well even though I’ve already had my interview. Originally when I got my interview invitation the lady on the phone said I might still get a rejection email but I should just ignore it. So I guess the rejection emails just came late? Might be better to call them up to clarify though!got an email from csu that I had been rejected for an interview offer 1 hr ago, but I had my interview at csu dentistry 1 week ago? Which part did you find weird? I thought a few of the questions were a bit tricky but my interviewers were really nice!Just in general did anyone else find the interview kind of… weird?
That doesn’t really make sense… some dodgy administration going on there by the sounds. You either qualify for interview, or you don’t!Originally when I got my interview invitation the lady on the phone said I might still get a rejection email but I should just ignore it
Not sure how much you’ve kept up with this, but CSU have outdone themselves with interview invite muck ups this year and at this point, I honestly struggle to trust anything they’re doing is not just panicked backtracking. That doesn’t really make sense… some dodgy administration going on there by the sounds. Sounds like they may have realised they made a mistake in inviting you to interview but didn’t want to admit the mistake when you contacted them about it?
Regardless, all the best with the application.
Oh my. So it was CSU's turn this year to be the uni-of-extreme-mess-ups-one-after-the-next. Got it.Not sure how much you’ve kept up with this, but CSU have outdone themselves with interview invite muck ups this year and at this point, I honestly struggle to trust anything they’re doing is not just panicked backtracking.
Initial interview invites seemed to have very little logic. A group with relatively high scores got invites, a group with relatively low scores got invites, and a group in the middle missed out. Correspondence from the uni was mixed to say the very least. Initially, they were reporting invites were still to come, wait until next week, then when none came, there was a suggestion that preferences played a role but there was still some communication from the uni that not all invites had gone out yet and THEN, to take the cake, instead of more invites they actually issued a number of interview invite retractions, stating some general applicants had been incorrectly identified as rural applicants. And now they’ve started retracting interview invites from applicants who’ve already completed their interviews.
Although I’ve obviously not contacted them myself, my second hand observation of their correspondence is that it’s been really poor, tbh.
Yes originally I didn’t receive an interview invite even though I had met all the criteria (as I’m a current CSU student). So when I called them up they admitted they made a mistake and I was incorrectly placed on the list to receive an interview rejection. They said they’ll send the interview invite email but I still might receive a rejection one and I should just ignore that one. That doesn’t really make sense… some dodgy administration going on there by the sounds. You either qualify for interview, or you don’t!

Offers come out via UAC, and are limited to the offer round dates, especially initially. You can find the dates on UAC’s key dates page. They don’t trickle out over a few days because UAC doesn’t work like that.Hey guys! Has anyone heard anything about when they might release offers? I heard they don't release them all on the same day but rather over a period of time (assuming a week or so). Does anyone know if this is true?
When I called before I had my interview (yes, I called because I was freaking out haha) they said they will try release them before Christmas but like idk.
It will be based on UAC offer rounds and the Dec round was during the interview period so if they had offers before Xmas would've happened already.Hey guys! So NSW/ACT students whose ATARs are yet to come out are not eligible for this offer round and hence there is no point putting it as first pref for 13th of Jan offer round??It will be based on UAC offer rounds and the Dec round was during the interview period so if they had offers before Xmas would've happened already.
Going by previous years I would probably expect them to issue "early" offers during Jan Round 1 (13th) for non-Year 12 and then the majority in Jan Round 2 (26th) which is after NSW ATAR is released.

ETA: Looks like CSU Dent does not consider ATAR when releasing offers. Then majority of offers should be released 13th of Jan right?
