Did you not apply to University of Sydney, Griffith, uni melb?Hi everyone, I got a UCAT of 2990 but havent recieved an offer yet for flinders. Do I still have a chance? (my atar is 99.95)
Did you call Flinders and ask your rank on the waitlist after the 2nd round offers?I recieved an atar of 99.95 through UES so I wouldn't qualify for those unis
I tried calling them today but since it is a public holiday, they are closed.Did you call Flinders and ask your rank on the waitlist after the 2nd round offers?
Based of my UCAT and ranking, I would assume you are hovering around my ranking too (20-30 ish). But do call tomorrow to confirm. I do not know the likelihood of getting an offer though from this position. Paging the Flinders specialist LeSpicyGinger .I tried calling them today but since it is a public holiday, they are closed.
Hey, did you end up finding what your rank was and how likely you are to get an offer?I tried calling them today but since it is a public holiday, they are closed.
For Flinders I believe it is not possible. Is it possible to sit Gamsat after the clinical sciences degree and apply elsewhere, without losing the existing offer?
I was told that I'm in the top 30 but they weren't able to tell me how likely I was to get an offer. So for now its just a waiting game.Hey, did you end up finding what your rank was and how likely you are to get an offer?
You can still do the UCAT again and apply for UCAT schools on the basis of GPA and UCAT (JMP and UNSW off the two of my head). I know a person that has tried to unsuccessfully. Is it possible to sit Gamsat after the clinical sciences degree and apply elsewhere, without losing the existing offer?

Flinders won't graduate you at end of year2 with a Bachelor degree, without which you can't apply for graduate entry at other GAMSAT schools.
The BClinSc+MD course structure is actually ClinSc Y1 > Y2 > (MD Y1 aka ClinSc Y3) > MD Y2 ...
So to get a Bachelor degree you need to (a) apply for an exit degree, (b) complete 3rd year ClinSc, (c) the exit kicks you out of MD Y2.
I don’t believe that’s how it works. The earliest you can quit with the exit degree is at the end MD1, 3 years into the degree. If you quit earlier, you will not receive any official qualification. The earliest you can apply is during MD1.Does that mean the latest I can apply for the exit degree is at the end of Year 2? Or can I still progress into the MD and then let them know I want to exit in Year 3 (MD Year 1)?
It would be posted on the offers forum. Good luck!Has anyone received a Flinders offer today?
I saw someone on the r/ucat discord with a 3040 (99.75 + UES) got it today, you'll probably get it on the next top up roundHas anyone received a Flinders offer today?
Complete random curveball, but do you know what the parking is like at Flinders? Are the spots super filled? Do you have to pay for it and are there free spots?I saw someone on the r/ucat discord with a 3040 (99.75 + UES) got it today, you'll probably get it on the next top up round![]()
Sounds suspiciously like you've got an offer lol. Parking is okay at Flinders. Its about $250 a year and all the free spots are next to the hospital which is like a 20 min walk from the main campus and usually fills up anyway. In the mornings, spots fill up fully around 10am in the prime locations and start being available again around lunch time. In Clinsci anyway, you're not on campus much so you don't have to deal with parking too much.Complete random curveball, but do you know what the parking is like at Flinders?
