I called them to ask. They said that they've had about 3500 applications and are emailing out about 870 interview offers by the end of today so perhaps it's taking a little while to email all of them? Fingers crossed for everyone :)

870? Thats 70 more than the most (750-800) they said they would in their prospectus.

Adelaide's prereq is one of Chem/Bio/Maths. Even if you have this you should call SATAC asap to ask why Ineligible.

Last year a UQ applicant got that Ineligible status. Called QTAC they said his English subject wasn't of the prereq standard. He was told to sit the IELTS test to supplement, did that and got a UQ offer.
Interesting, does this only apply for international students? Just wondering in case my English exam goes horribly wrong.

I just checked with Newcastle re the JMP interview offers and they said that they're being emailed out today. I haven't received one but wondered if anyone else has yet?
Since interstate applicants usually get interview invites the day after the others, did you get an idea when interstaters might expect them? Just wondering since it's Friday and they're unlikely to be sent out on a Saturday :)

That case was a domestic applicant. For some reason the English subject he chose for Y12 was one as a second language so didn't meet UQ's prereq. The only way out was QTAC allowed him to sit the IELTS achieving a certain score to prove. I don't know if they would allow the same if you failed your English exam, I guess not because you only know of fail in Dec by then it's too late.

Is a scaled score of 50 required at UQ?

This is all I could find:

"Completed senior secondary schooling from a designated country (PDF, 109KB) where the medium of instruction is English"

I literally just talked to UoN and was told in no manner of unfriendly terms that results will be released at a date TBA and no-one knows when nor will they be telling anyone, just to wait like every other year - so i don't know how others have been "told" specific times.

That’s just what I was told. There doesn’t seem to be any consistency with the information they’ve been given by the admissions staff 🤷‍♂️

Maybe you talked to the UoN (general) admissions team? Need to talk directly with Med admissions and even then it's not guaranteed to be accurate.
