Yeah, I tend to agree. When I asked a couple of years ago it was made clear to me I had to be enrolled in the period 3 unit to be considered (or equivalent if I was attending a different bridging course). I’d definitely be getting them to confirm exactly what they want.
Yep, you're right. Very weird protocol. If you haven't done chemistry in high school, you had to have applied for the bridging course and done it sometime during year 12. Lol as if i'm going to move to Townsville for a month and do a bridging course. Even if I was to do the course during January-February, it would count, as offers come out this year and I had to have the chem prerq to be given an offer.

my Adelaide Med application status changed to "Not Eligible - Did not meet course admission requirements".

Adelaide's prereq is one of Chem/Bio/Maths. Even if you have this you should call SATAC asap to ask why Ineligible.

Last year a UQ applicant got that Ineligible status. Called QTAC they said his English subject wasn't of the prereq standard. He was told to sit the IELTS test to supplement, did that and got a UQ offer.

If JCU is like UTas, at the interview/offer stage you only need evidence (enrolment) that you will be able to acquire the prereq before the med course starts in March. So hypothetically if JCU allows you to enrol in Period 3 you can still get an interview, then wait for the outcome. If you get a place offer you do the bridging course, if you don't you can withdraw without penalty/cost (census date 6th Feb).

Yeah UTAS is like that. However, the lady from JCU told me that the chemistry prereq is a requirement, as in, you have to have done it before offers are given out. Its not like UTAS where you just need proof of enrolment.

I would've thought so, but the lack of an email today has got me worried.
I have got an email from WSU today saying my application has been received and being processed, and notify end of October if I have been successful gaining an interview. I am from VIC.

Has anyone got any notifications from WSU?

I also received an email. I’m a rural applicant who has already completed a degree. Not sure if that might make a difference to why I was sent the email and others were not? Hope that might help. (NSW)

Around 20 people if you go back 3-4 pages

Step 1: did you send an application directly to WSU?
Step 2: have you checked your spam folder?
Step 3: don't panic and email them if both step 1 and 2 have been done.

I just checked with Newcastle re the JMP interview offers and they said that they're being emailed out today. I haven't received one but wondered if anyone else has yet?
